A server stood at the door. She smiled and gestured to the man behind her. “Please go in, sir.”
The two of them looked at the door at the same time.
A server stood at the door. She smiled and gestured to the man behind her. “Please go in, sir.”
Scott nodded and strode in with his long legs.
The man was in a black couture suit with a royal blue tie. His short hair was styled cleanly, and there were cold, hard lines on his handsome face. He curved his thin, sensual lips under the bridge of his tall, straight nose. “I haven’t seen you in a while.”
Elisa smiled. “Yes. It’s been a while.”
It was, of course, directed at Elisa.
After all, Kyle and Scott lived close to each other, and they played games together frequently.
They would hang out once in a while, but for Elisa, it would often be inconvenient for her. Furthermore, she didn’t want to go into the industry, so they didn’t hang out as much.
After Scott sat down, Kyle looked at the server. “You may serve the food when it’s ready.”
“Alright. Please wait a moment.”
She went out and shut the door after her.
Scott sized up Elisa and furrowed his brows slightly. “Why have you lost so much weight since the last time I saw you?”
Elisa immediately felt indignant. “I have not. I’ve been like this for the past couple of years.”
Scott didn’t believe her at all.
He said in exasperation, “It would be great if you could ensure that you don’t lose any more weight. Girls can’t be too skinny. It’s not very proper.”
Elisa was dumbfounded.
It wasn’t as if she was skin and bones.
But she didn’t pursue the topic any longer. She smiled and asked, “How have the both of you been lately?”
“Same old. But I might be getting married soon.” Scott shrugged indifferently.
