The IT department didn’t dare utter a word. The team leader wiped his sweat and summoned his courage to say, “They’ve only breached it but didn’t continue digging further. They don’t seem to have the intention to wreck anything, it seems like they’re just… cruising around.”
“How long until it’s fixed?”
The IT department didn’t dare utter a word. The team leader wiped his sweat and summoned his courage to say, “They’ve only breached it but didn’t continue digging further. They don’t seem to have the intention to wreck anything, it seems like they’re just… cruising around.”
Gareth didn’t say a word. His bony hand tapped the table lightly.
But everyone felt very uneasy.
He tapped at an irregular rhythm, and it made their hearts thump in an unrestrained manner. It was as though… their hearts would leap out at the next moment, and they would meet a violent death.
There wasn’t a trace of a smile on Gareth’s ice-cold face, especially his eyes, which had frozen over and looked like a deep abyss. No one had the nerve to look him in the eye.
At the next moment, he suddenly laughed.
The soft noise made everyone want to rush to their death. They felt tormented.
“Give me a time. How long until this is fixed?”
“Tonight. We will strive to fix it by tonight!”
“Strive?” Gareth sneered.
The IT department was about to cry. What else could they say?
When met with a powerful opponent like The Three Musketeers, what could they do?
The fact that they weren’t being destroyed by The Three Musketeers was enough to prove how good they already were.
But now they were dumbstruck. The Three Musketeers had never laid a hand on them, but by suddenly doing so, Wickam Group must have offended The Three Musketeers somehow. They couldn’t be sure of it, but maybe The Three Musketeers were just visiting and might not break through anything.
Perhaps they just wanted to scare Gareth and give him a warning.
Gareth looked at them coldly. “Everyone has to work overtime tonight. Change the sequence of the first five levels.”
