Gareth’s expression seemed to have turned colder. “How long are you going to try to be brave?!”
Upon hearing the fury intertwined in his voice, Elisa looked at him in slight surprise. “What’s wrong with you?”
Gareth’s brows instantly furrowed.
He also wanted to know what was wrong with him!
Elisa couldn’t understand the reason for his behavior. She said calmly, “I can eat by myself. You may leave.”
After that, Elisa sat up, and her actions were very smooth. If Gareth hadn’t personally witnessed how her spotless and perfect shoulder had been mutilated, he would have doubted if Elisa had actually been injured.
She ate with ease with one hand. Gareth felt that if he stuck around, it would make him seem like he was just hanging out. He didn’t say a word as he got up and left.
The heavens knew how jittery and irritable he was feeling now.
Elisa looked at his figure. Although she wasn’t surprised by how moody he was, she felt that his temperament was worse.
But, of course, this was Gareth’s personal matter. It had nothing to do with her. She ate in an unconcerned manner.
Although her shoulder hurt, she could withstand the pain. She didn’t feel like her injury held her back.
After she finished eating, she got up and put everything outside.
Gareth was sitting in the living room. He laughed in rage when he saw her actions.
He opened his mouth and wanted to say something, but Elisa ignored him. After putting the things down, she returned to her room like a regular person.
Gareth closed his eyes and took a deep breath in. In the end, he got up and walked out.
