Chapter 842
Elisa's frown tightened unhappily at Gareth. Even though she didn't conunent on it. she had made herself clear enough.
However. Gareth feigned ignorance and went to the couch to read the documents.
After a moment of silence, Elisa said coldly, "Why are you doing this? What's the point?"
Gareth snorted. "You are asking me wfrat’s the point?"
"I feel like you're acting like a creep right now; I am starting to feel like you can't live wdthout me. Please don't create such an illusion - it's disgusting. Can you leave now?"
The veins on Gareth's forehead bulged. He looked at Elisa sarcastically. "You'd better not believe the illusion. You're not good enough."
"Get out of here, then! Don't you know it's annoying to see you here?" Elisa's anger wras triggered by his reply, wdiich was why she had taken such a tone towrard him.
One could discern the fieriness in her tone.
Gareth's face darkened as he put down the documents in his hand.
He stared at her sharply and intently as if his gaze alone could tear her apart.
Nevertheless, Elisa was not afraid of him at all. Standing in the living room, she stared him down coldly. "I know7 you're doing this because of Grandma. But seeing you alone makes me upset and interferes with my recovery. Don't you know’ why the wnund hasn't been healing well?"
Looking at Gareth's increasingly cold gaze, she continued, "You can do whatever you like as long as it doesn't impact my life!"
He sneered. "Do you think I wrant to?"
As frustration built up within her, she snapped. "Fine. If you don't leave, then I will."
