Chapter 933 You Twerp
'Ding dong…'
Rachel opened the door and could not resist smiling when she saw Elisa. "You're not here because of me, right? I came here to get a free dinner from Uncle James."
Before Elisa could say anything, James broke out in laughter behind Rachel. "Hahaha. Step aside, kiddo. Let Liz in."
Rachel stepped aside with a smile, allowing Elisa to come in and close the door.
"Uncles James, I'm sorry for disturbing you at this hour."
"There's no need to be so formal with me. You can find me anytime. My door is always open for you."
James valued Elisa's talent and work ethic.
He knew she came here because of something important. Otherwise, she would not make a trip here this late at night.
Elisa smiled. "The thing is, I'm planning to collaborate with Darcey Group, so I need your help. We will be having a meeting tomorrow."
James was curious. "A meeting? Let's talk about it in the study."
Elisa followed James to the study. Rachel was uninterested in joining them and watched TV in the living room.
Still, she could not help glancing upstairs occasionally and was curious when they remained in the study for a long time.
What is it that led Elisa to travel all the way here? Is she planning to strike now?
The male and female leads of a romantic drama were kissing on TV. However, Rachel was not interested and continued observing the situation upstairs.
After some time, she finally heard a door opening upstairs.
Rachel looked up and saw Elisa and James walking down the stairs.
She glanced at her watch and exclaimed, "Wow, you guys talked for two hours. Uncle James, I never knew you had so much to talk about."
James' expression darkened. "You twerp!"
Elisa smiled but remained silent.
James turned to Elisa with a smile. "Don't worry. I'll deal with this matter according to your plan. I guarantee they will be satisfied with it at the meeting tomorrow."
Elisa nodded with a smile.
Rachel's eyes flickered. I was right. Elisa is planning to strike soon!
I wonder what surprise Elisa will bring this time!
With this in mind, Rachel said excitedly, "What are you planning to do at the meeting tomorrow?"
Elisa pursed her lips and remained silent.
There were servants in James' house. She was not sure if they could be trusted.
James flicked Rachel's forehead. "You will find out when the time comes."
Rachel grumbled, "Sure, I'll wait then!"
Since she would find out about it tomorrow, she decided to stop questioning them.
Elisa smiled. "In that case, I'll be leaving first. It's getting let. Have a good rest, Uncle James."
"Haha, Liz, since it's late, why don't you and Rachel stay here for tonight."
Elisa replied, "Thank you for the offer, but I left some documents at home. I need to bring them to the company tomorrow."
Rachel grinned and said, "I'm not staying here either. I'm going home."
Upon seeing they did not wish to stay, James could only smile and nod, "Sure, please be careful. I will arrange for someone to send you home."
Elisa and Rachel did not refuse this time. They knew James was concerned about them.
However, Rachel did not go home but went to Elisa's place.
