There's nothing here that belonged to Dad. Norman replaced everything!
Frustration surged in Elisa's heart. However, she had always known Norman would eventually change everything in her father's office. Furthermore, he would likely not want to use anything that belonged to her father.
She breathed in slowly and remained silent.
Norman and Linda had sullen expressions as they glared at Elisa.
Linda scolded, "Elisa, do you think you have won?"
Elisa returned to her senses and looked at Linda indifferently. "I'm now the chairman. Isn't that considered winning?"
Linda was rendered speechless.
B*tch!
Why must I still suffer from this b*tch?
I will kill her with my own hands one day!
Norman's face contorted into bitterness and rage. Finally, he erupted with fury, "Elisa, you have better reverse everything to how it was! Do you think it's easy being the chairman? Do you have any idea how much pressure this position entails? Benett Corporation will go bankrupt in your hands!"
Norman had no part in the company's founding, but he knew the company contained immense wealth. He would never willingly miss out on this good fortune.
He desperately wished to kick Elisa out of the company. Even if the company was in a constant state of decline, he could still enjoy all its benefits.
The only downside was that the company would earn less profit than when Nelson was alive.
Still, Norman would be making a lot more than before because he had the most shares.
Therefore, he would still stand to gain no matter what.
Elisa snorted and looked at him indifferently. "The company is a mess after you have taken over. I regret letting you manage it."
Norman's lips drew back in a snarl, and he snapped, "There's nothing wrong with my management. Stop saying such nonsense. Since you're Black-Eyed Susan, give me back my money! You have better cough up that two billion. Otherwise, don't blame me for what I'm about to do!"
Linda's anger pounded in her like a frantic drumbeat.
This b*tch cheated my family of two billion!
Elisa snorted and asked, "Are you sure I owe you two billion?"
She looked at Norman coldly. "You have been holding my father and my shares all these years. You promised to pay two billion for the shares. Did you overpay?"
Elisa no longer bothered pretending to be unaware of the truth. Even the outsiders already knew they were enemies. Therefore, it was pointless acting nice in private. She did not care even if they recorded her.
After all, she had the shareholders' support.
Norman gritted his teeth and pointed at Elisa furiously. "Elisa, do you know what will happen now that outsiders know about our enmity? What makes you think you can retain the previous projects after you become the chairman? Do you know that…"
Elisa had no patience to listen to him and interrupted coldly, "You don't have to worry about these things. I can manage this company well. Even if I don't, I still have Will and Gareth's support. Trust me. This company shall exist forever."
Linda sneered in mocking fury, "You think everything will always go your way?"
