Chapter 971 Dead Man
Amidst everyone's attention, Elisa took the opportunity to speak.
She commented, "For this contract, I ask that you look closely at article 24. It clearly states..."
Elisa began to point out one loophole after another in the contract.
Norman's lawyer was dumbfounded.
There was no issue with each separate clause, but Elisa could detect disparity when comparing two clauses due to her professional expertise.
Norman thought to himself, how...how could this be happening?!
Norman couldn't understand what Elisa was saying, but he wasn't blind. He noticed how pale his lawyer's face had become.
Norman internally panicked. What...what is going on?!
Norman whispered, "What's happening?"
"She's too good," the lawyer whispered back. He could no longer refute Elisa's statements.
The written contract Elisa had given to Rachel was still in her possession. She followed Elisa's points and examined the contract closely. Rachel was in disbelief.
Rachel exclaimed with admiration, "My goodness! She's a genius!"
Charli replied, "Perhaps I'm used to her stunning us every time. I don't even feel surprised anymore."
Elisa had a talent for defeating her adversaries. She would unleash a devastating counterattack, giving them no chance to retaliate. They would beg for mercy on their knees as a result.
Rachel admired her skill. She commented, "I never thought she would find loopholes in these two clauses!"
She was convinced it was hard to locate a flaw in the contract as Norman could not respond to the claims. Yet, Elisa did it.
Rachel had specifically asked Elisa to print a copy to study the material.
But I didn't expect...
Rachel furrowed her brows as she persisted in identifying the flaws in the contract.
She consoled herself with the fact that the many outstanding attorneys Norman had recruited had not found the flaws.
Elisa is simply exceptional! Superb to the point where individuals are left speechless.
She exclaimed, "Exceptional! Look at the attorney Norman chose. He's not very competent, is he?"
"That's right, but I guess even Vincent could find the flaw," said Charli.
Rachel exclaimed, "Huh?"
Rachel couldn't help but scowl whenever she thought of that unpleasant man. She sighed, "Despite his ability, I simply want to shoot the dude every time I see him."
When Charli heard this, she couldn't help but smile. She observed Rachel's clenched teeth and questioned, "Do you have a deep hatred for him?"
Rachel seemed to have strong opinions whenever Vincent was addressed. He gave her a profoundly unsettling sensation in her chest. Vincent had helped her a lot, but it was usually in his interest.
Rachel cried, "Yes! He and I are inimical to one other in every way! I would murder him if it weren't against the law. He'll be a dead man if he tries to provoke me!"
Charli laughed and said, "Alright. Alright. The more you talk about it, the more worked up you get. You two often argue and laugh together, which is great to witness."
Rachel countered, "It's not like that! That d*mn..."
Before Rachel could finish speaking, someone behind interrupted her.
