No longer a pushover (Noelle and Cedric) novel Chapter 161

Frank swayed his feet.

He put a hand over his chest and asked, "Noelle, what did you say?"

"I said, I want to sever ties with you. I hate it when you use the excuse of wanting the best for me to control my life."

Noelle was furious. She had never said she wanted to sever ties before. She only tried to get as far away from him as possible.

"I should've told you this earlier. It would stop you guys from doing all that shit with the excuse that you're my brothers who want the best for me. You guys are disgusting!"

Noelle's glare was icy. She hadn't wanted to say all this while leaving the Liddell Residence. However, they had crossed the line.

Frank felt like he couldn't breathe. He said shakily, "Noelle, I had no idea you hated me and the Liddells this much!"

"Right. Do you understand what I want now?"

Frank looked up at her and said, "I'll take this as an angry rant you don't mean. The school doctor should've bore the consequences of his actions alone if he was a man worth anything. He should head to the hospital and apologize!"

"You're too much!"

"Now, can you go with me to the hospital?"

Noelle glared at Frank. Then, she hailed a cab and left.

She called Cedric, but no one picked up.

She thought of what happened with Justin in her last life. Justin got into a fight with Cedric. Then, the Parhams forced Cedric to apologize to Justin. Cedric ended up being humiliated and beaten up by Justin.

Noelle was livid.

She texted Cedric and asked, "Where are you now?"

"I'm at the hospital."

Noelle immediately called him after seeing his response. "Cedric, don't go in just yet. Wait for me outside. I'll be there in a minute."

"You're coming too?"

Cedric had just got out of the car. He asked with a frown, "Are you guys done with the celebratory dinner already?"

"Don't change the topic. We'll talk when I get there."

Noelle hung up.

Justin spoke too loudly. His ribs throbbed and he sucked in a breath.

Satisfaction glinted in Xenia's eyes. "Thanks, Justin. Noelle was deluded by Cedric. That's why she left home to live with him."

"How could I have fallen for a salacious woman like Noelle? You're so much better than her, Xenia."

Although Justin played around, he liked his women pure.

"Who are you calling salacious?"

Alfred walked into the room, only to hear Justin slandering Noelle. He was lucky Cedric hadn't followed him up. If not, Justin would've been done for.

Cedric was extremely protective of Noelle.

Upon seeing Alfred, Justin was terrified. He dropped the apple he had been holding. "Y–you…"

Alfred was his cousin!

Had his family found out about what he did and sent Alfred to teach him a lesson?

When Xenia saw that Alfred was alone, she asked, "It's you. Where's Cedric?"
