No longer a pushover (Noelle and Cedric) novel Chapter 221

When Noelle stood up, the atmosphere in the dorm became tense.

Jessica was startled. "What... what do you want to do? I didn't say anything wrong. How could someone like you, from a poor background, afford to offend those heirs and heiresses?"

Grace quickly intervened, "We're all classmates and roommates; let's not make things awkward."

"Hmph! Ms. Merlock said if we get too close to Noelle, she won't let us off," Jessica muttered in defeat as she grabbed her toiletries and went to the balcony.

It was only then that Noelle sat down and organized her textbooks. In her past life, she had also studied computer science, so these foundational courses were actually quite easy for her.

The next day, she walked to class alone, her textbooks in hand. As she walked, she felt people staring at her and whispering. She didn't mind too much—after all, in her past life, she had been isolated because of Xenia. But when Noelle reached the classroom door, she suddenly sensed something.

She glanced up at the slightly ajar door and kicked it open. The next moment, a water bucket fell from the door.

Quickly, she dodged it, but the students inside, who had been watching, weren't so lucky. Water splashed everywhere.

Screams filled the room.

"Oh my god! The dirty water got on my clothes!"

"Ugh! This is a limited edition skirt; I just bought it!"

Noelle walked into the classroom leisurely, seeing Samantha and Xenia in a messy state. A smug, mocking expression appeared on her face.

Their tricks were so childish. She guessed it was probably Xenia's idea.

Furious, Samantha snapped, "Hey, country bumpkin! You ruined our clothes; prepare to pay up!"

"Yeah, if you don't have money, you can work for us to pay off your debt!"

Noelle's gaze darkened. "I have no money, and there will be no compensation. If you're not happy, go ahead and sue me."
