No More Waiting, She Chooses Love novel Chapter 647

"Weren't you there when they cremated him? It must be a coincidence," Dustin said as he hung up the phone, his gaze returning to the girl on the Ferris wheel.

I hung out up there until the final few tourists had cleared out and the lights had faded into the night's snooze, then I got down from the Ferris wheel.

Dustin was still waiting for me, coming over to help me down.

His eyes settled on my face, as if trying to read my mood.

But I had already vented all my emotions up there; now, I was back to my usual self.

"It's getting late, let's go," he said to me.

Walking out of the amusement park with him, I asked, "Dustin, tell me about Deborah's news."

"She's in Goldbridge. You should contact her for more details," Dustin replied cautiously.

Pulling out his phone, he sent me a message, "I've sent you her new number and address."

"Thanks, Dustin!" I said, turning to leave.

"Felicia," Dustin called after me, his eyes dark and unreadable, ".....take care."

I could tell he wanted to say more than those four words, but I just nodded, pretending not to understand, and walked away.

The amusement park, a hotspot for social media, had witnessed a major incident, instantly trending, and somehow, I was dragged into the limelight too.

But my trending topic had nothing to do with the amusement park; it was about me hooking up in a bar, complete with a video shot as if from a hidden camera.

Clearly, someone had intentionally filmed me and leaked it online to tarnish my reputation.

I wasn't bothered, what I do is my business, and I had even mentioned wanting to go public about it to Fanny the other day.

But even though I might choose to put myself out there, I ain't gonna let others play me.

Finding the culprit was easy; a trip to the bar was all it took.
