The rain was falling heavily, leaving the alley almost deserted. All that remained was the constant sound of the pouring rain echoing around. 

Six men approached from the entrance of the alley, each carrying an umbrella, engaged in lively conversation and laughter. 

As they brushed past each other, a flash of white light tomentarily filled Zachary’s vision. 

A blade, radiating a cold intent, was aimed directly at his abdomen. Zachary’s pupils contracted, and with blistering speed, he seized the wrist of the one wielding the knife. 

The umbrella fell to the ground, and the rain hit his face. 

Just a moment ago, Zachary was still uncertain about their identities. Without any hesitation, the other five men pulled out knives from their clothes. They tossed their umbrellas to the ground and lunged at Zachary, 

Zachary was quick on his feet. With a swift sidestep, he dodged and retaliated with a swift side kick. With a resounding smack, a dagger hit the ground. 

Several daggers were simultaneously thrust toward Zachary, whistling through the air as they went 

-Zachary didn’t manage to dodge in time and one of the men managed to slash his arm. He quickly 

grabbed hold of the man’s arm, forcefully pushing his shoulder against the man’s chest, and in one swift move, he flipped the man over his shoulder onto the ground 

Drenched from head to toe, Zachary leaned against the wall, rainwater trickling down his face. He eyed the six beaten figures before him warily, their features blurred under the downpour. “Who are you?” 

“D“mn you, give us back our money!” A tall man, with eyes red from fury, charged aggressively at Zachary 

Zachary swiftly sidestepped, seizing the man’s wrist. With a swift elbow strike to his chest, he forced the man into retreat. 

The other five individuals immediately rushed forward, simultaneously attacking Zachary. Each of them was armed with a knife. Zachary reacted swiftly, but he still ended up getting injured. 

Swoosh! A blade sliced through the sleeve of his suit, causing blood to gush out from his arm and quickly disappear into the rain. 

Zachary let out a furious roar, sending the man sprawling with a kick. The man collapsed to the ground, clutching his stomach, and spat out a mouthful of blood 

“Alright, maybe we should…” One of them began to have second thoughts. 

The original plan was merely to make Zachary suffer a little. 

However, at that very moment, it was clear that everyone had lost their rational mind. Their attacks were brutal, showing no signs of stopping. They had completely forgotten the initial intentions. 

Meanwhile, Zachary was fiercely fending off their attacks. 

Right at that moment, someone from behind lunged forward. The knife in hand was aimed straight at Zachary’s back.

It seemed to indeed be Zachary, 

Lenora attempted to pause the video but was a moment too late. The screen froze at the fifty–eighth second, focusing on a casualty on a stretcher. They were dressed in a black garment, with an arm expo appearing to be a woman. 

Lenora was just about to hit the play button when suddenly, something caught her eye. She focused her attention on the woman’s wrist. 

The woman had a bracelet adorning her wrist. Through the grainy video, one could barely make out its soft blue hue, which emitted a faint glow in the rain- 

A premonition stirred within Lenora’s heart. The person on the stretcher, she suspected, was Susanna. Upon closer inspection, she recognized the black attire on the woman as a trench coat of Zachary’s 

Then, without a doubt, the man who briefly appeared in the video was Zachary,
