Elle aimed her phone at Clara and said, "Clara, let me take a picture of you and Roy. When Bran wakes up, take a few more with her. Looking at their photos will brighten your mood."

Clara fully understood Elle's intention. She gave a bitter smile and turned Roy's face towards the camera. Looking down at him, she said, "Sweetie, look at Mommy, let's take a selfie."

Roy's bright eyes sparkled as he looked at her, his little fist in his mouth.

Clara pointed towards Elle and said, "Honey, I’m asking you to look at Mommy. Mommy is taking our picture."

Roy continued to gaze at her, babbling something incomprehensible with his little mouth.

Anders walked in just in time to witness this scene. He whispered in Elle's ear, "This kid is perceptive. He knows who his mom is."

Elle nudged him and gave him a look. Then she took many photos of Clara and Roy with her phone.

Soon enough, Clara felt Roy moving around below. She looked at Elle in surprise, "Elle, I think he might have made a mess."

Elle immediately put down her phone and was about to run over, but Anders grabbed her. "Clara, I need to talk to Elle about something. Could you change Roy for us? You wouldn't mind, would you?"

Clara laughed, "Of course not. He's my beloved nephew."

She placed Roy on the changing table, carefully opening his diaper. Sure enough, Roy had made quite a mess.

Far from being disgusted, Clara felt a surge of happiness. She had attended parenting classes during her pregnancy and knew exactly what to do. Quickly, she cleaned Roy up and put on a fresh diaper.
