All the students in the cafeteria jumped in shock.

They saw a tall, middle-aged man in a suit. He still looked handsome and charming for his age.

“D*mn, who’s that? He gave me such a big shock.”

“Hang on. He looks kind of familiar…”

“Isn’t that Jack Fowler, the Emeritus Chairman of Fowler Corporation? He’s also our school’s donor!”

“D*mn it. He’s a legend in the business world. I never thought I’d see him in person. I must take a picture first!”

“Didn’t Mr. Fowler just yell for Jane Fowler? Isn’t she the biological daughter the Fowler family lost 19 years ago? But Mr. Fowler looks very angry.”

Even Lila was shocked.

“Mama mia, he almost scared me to death,” Lila said.

She quickly calmed her heart.

When Lila saw that it was Jack Fowler, her heart tightened. “Janie, isn’t that Mr. Fowler?”

Judging by Jack’s menacing look, he had not come there in peace.

Lila suddenly felt very nervous and looked at Jane.

Jane opened her m*uth and was about to say something.

At that moment, Jack followed everyone’s gaze and saw Jane.

He immediately rushed toward Jane.

All the students who were eating around Jane and Lila quickly scrambled

aside.

They quietly took out their phones and waited for a good show.

When Jack saw that Jane was eating, his anger rose instantly.

“You’re eating? How could you still be in the mood to eat? I’ll make you eat!”

He was so furious that he flipped Jane’s food to the ground.

Some bits of food landed on Jane’s and Lila’s clothes.

“Oh no…”

Lila was wearing a skirt with a pair of wh*te stockings.

Some of the juices from the food splashed onto Lila’s stockings.

It was a little scalding.

Jane’s eyes turned icy cold instantly.

She slammed her hands on the table and stood up.

“Jack Fowler, have you fu*king lost your mind?”

Jack never thought that Jane would be bold. That she would dare to stand

up to him and yell at him. “How, how dare you speak to me like this?” he yelled back. “Jane Fowler, you’ve become too bold!”

Jane ignored Jack and showed Lila concern first. “Lila, are you ok?”

“I’m fine,” Lila said. “I got a little scalded.”

Instead, Lila was more worried about Jane.

Jack had indeed come for Jane without any good intentions.

“Dad!”

Just then, Dwayne walked into the cafeteria and saw what happened. He quickly went over and pulled his father back.

“Dad, calm down,” Dwayne said. “We’re on campus. Don’t create a scene here. Let’s talk somewhere…”

“How can I calm down?” Jack replied. “Peter is still lying unconscious in the school clinic, and it’s all Jane’s fault!”

Jack stared furiously at Jane.

It was as if the woman before him was not his daughter, his own flesh and blood.

Instead, she was an enemy with whom he had a deep grudge.

Jane frowned without leaving creases on her face.

Peter was lying unconscious?

Hmph.

He was really useless.

She had only insulted him a bit. Could he not take it and pass out?

Jane had endured so many years of the Fowler family’s physical and psychological abuse, yet she had not collapsed.

What right did Peter have to collapse?

“What? Peter Fowler is…”

Lila could not help but feel stunned too.

After Jack had calmed down a bit, he started to panic.

In the past, even if Peter were unconscious, Jack would not have been so reckless.

However, Jane had spoken to Jack in such a tone and called him Mr.

Fowler instead of Dad.

This was simply wild.

Jack’s eyes grew wide immediately. “Apologize? Do you want me to apologize? Jane, who do you think you are?”

Since the day Jack was born, Anna was the only person who had ever dared to speak to him in this manner.

“Mr. Fowler, don’t try to act close. I have already severed all ties with the Fowler family. I’m no longer related to any of you,” Jane said.

“You hurt someone and also made baseless accusations. How dare your still question who I am?

“So the famous Emeritus Chairman of Fowler Corporation is merely a hyp*crite who bullies the weak!”
