Darren could sense that the two black vortexes in front of him were the gates of space.
"Where are we, sir?" Darren asked.
"This is where we can save them," the old fiend replied. Then, he pointed at the vortex on the left and said, "Let them in."
As soon as he finished speaking, Carlisle and the others were drawn by a powerful force and soon disappeared in the vortex.
"Sir, will they be all right?" Darren was a little worried.
"They will be fine, but I don't know how long it would take until they can come out," the old fiend said as he shook his head.
"Okay." Darren stopped asking questions. He decided to wait and see.
"By the way, what is the right vortex for?" Darren asked curiously.
"This was left by a great master from the human race. I don't know what lies across that vortex, and I don't know anyone who has ever entered it before."
"A great master of the human race?" Darren's interest was instantly piqued. He walked closer to unleash his god's sense to probe the vortex, but his god's sense couldn't penetrate it at all.
"That's strange. Why would a human master leave this vortex here?" Darren murmured to himself and continued to stare at the right vortex.
"This is the space where that human master used to dwell in. Maybe that particular powerful master left some of his treasures in that vortex for other lucky people to obtain," the old fiend speculated.
"Hmm. But why did he leave them within the territory of the fiend race?" Darren didn't understand why a powerful human cultivator would abandon something in a wasteland of the fiend race.
"This space was brought here by a human, and thus, that powerful great master's treasures in the space were transferred here as well," the old fiend explained.
"Oh, I see." Darren nodded.
"Defiant Master, do you want to try and enter the right vortex?" All of a sudden, Princess Lindsay barged in the conversation.
Darren turned around and looked at her. "Can you tell me what's on the other side?"
"No, because I don't know either," Lindsay replied.
"Ha-ha. Forget it. If you don't dare to go, what makes you think I will go there alone?" Although Darren had now reached the Domain God Realm, he was so much weaker than Lindsay. She didn't dare to go in, which indicated that it was very dangerous inside.
"What if I force you to go in?" A complicated expression flashed on her face, which confused Darren.
"Oh, I don't think that's necessary," Darren replied coldly.
"Good luck." Lindsay ignored Darren's indifferent attitude. A surge of god's power suddenly attacked Darren, and pushed him straight to the right vortex.
"You!" Darren was frightened and angry at the same time, but he could not break free from the suppressing power.
A moment later, an even stronger force pulled Darren into the darkness.
After Darren had disappeared, the old fiend looked at Lindsay in surprise.
"How could you force him to enter the vortex?"
"Don't worry, Otis. He has great potential, but it hasn't been unlocked yet because he is a coward. He should thank me afterwards for helping him. You'll see." When she spoke, she seemed very calm and composed.
The old fiend nodded and said, "This space was brought here by your father. I think you have already been to the right vortex. Tell me, what's in it?"
"It's a secret," she said with a playful smile.
"Well, fine. I won't ask again. By the way, the scar on your face is getting bigger. Do you need to control it?" Otis said with concern.
"It's pointless. Even my father can't cure the wound made by the Lord Dark Night's fiend power." At that moment, Lindsay looked dejected.
"Rumor has it that there is empyrean dew in the Immortal Land of the human race, which can allegedly break the Lord Dark Night's fiend power."
Her face drastically changed. She stared straight at Otis and said, "You really know a lot of things, don't you, Otis? You know much more than my father."
For the longest time, she had always found Otis to be extraordinary. He might look ordinary, but he was knowledgeable about many things. Even during the years when her father was alive, he had learned a lot from Otis.
Otis only smiled and did not respond.
