As the barrier fell, Samuel and Yvonne also looked at them with sleepy eyes.
"What's wrong?" Samuel sat up, touched his head, and said gloomily, "Why is it so noisy?"
Suddenly, Samuel looked at the Ant Queen and was slightly surprised. "Yo, why are you here too?"
The little leader and the others looked at each other, but at the same time, they let out a long sigh in their hearts.
Although both of them were in the energy circle, which was obviously unexpected, there was one thing that could make them feel relieved. At least, it proved that their guards had not failed their duties.
The Ant Queen frowned and stared at the two people in the array.
They were all vivid and definitely not illusions. This also meant that what happened in the city had nothing to do with them.
But how could this be possible?
What a coincidence!
"There are some disturbances in the city, as if someone else barged in. I want to ask the two of you, are you really the only ones that came this time?" The Ant Queen asked.
"I can swear to God that there is nothing else except for me and my wife." Samuel stood up three fingers and vowed.
The Ant Queen smiled slightly. "There's no need for you to go through so much trouble. I was just worried about your safety when I saw the chaos in the city. I came here to take a look. I was just asking casually."
"Many thanks, Ant Queen," said Yvonne with a smile.
"By the way, Miss, you're awake? How do you feel?" The Ant Queen said politely.
Yvonne smiled and said, "I must be too tired and short of water and food, so I don’t feel well for a while."
"Then I'll get someone to prepare some food for you," the Ant Queen said.
Yvonne shook her head and said, "The things in the city are rare and precious. Thank you, Queen. However, I am not too delicate. I believe I can barely go on my way after a night's rest."
"We'll leave tomorrow morning. However, there's no sun under the ground and we don't know when it's time. Please send someone to inform us when the time comes," Yvonne said.
