30 Days Till I Divorce My Husband novel Chapter 332

Back in the bedroom, seeing Isaac sound asleep on the bed, Estrella leaned in and gave him a tender kiss.

Estrella's affection for Isaac was clear, and just as she finished her kiss, Jason wrapped his arms around her from behind. "Babe, where's my kiss?"

Jason's playful whine made Estrella turn and look at him. "Are you still a kid?"

Jason chuckled. "I'm only a little older than our son."

The topic of their marriage license had come up, with Autumn suggesting it and Cole not dismissing the idea outright. Given the holiday vibes, Jason was in a particularly good mood and started to get playful with Estrella.

Estrella laughed at his antics. "Our son definitely doesn't have your cheek."

Feigning offense, Jason said, "Estrella, I hope we keep getting better in the new year."

Estrella turned and kissed him in response, sealing his wish.

She too, was enjoying these moments to the fullest.

---

On the second day of the new year, Landon and Kristin dropped by, carefully avoiding any mention of Estrella and Jason's remarriage or the marriage certificate. They simply came to exchange New Year greetings.

While Landon and Cole joined Keith for a game of chess, Isaac watched the board intently, occasionally offering tips.

Keith was amazed by Isaac's intelligence, proclaiming that the Dorvold family had produced a genius and suggesting Isaac pursue a career as a professional chess player.

Landon, a bit cautiously, corrected, "Strictly speaking, he should be considered part of the Nelson family."

Keith frowned. "The boy clearly takes after Estrella. How can he be considered a Nelson?"

Landon started to respond, but Kristin quickly tugged at his sleeve, reminding him of the sensitive topic of Estrella's marriage certificate. Landon quickly conceded, "You're right, Keith. Isaac does resemble Estrella a lot."

Keith was pleased with Landon's concession and proudly continued discussing chess strategies with Isaac.

As Isaac made a decisive move for Landon, Keith's expression darkened - he had been outplayed by Isaac.

Keith's frown deepened, while Isaac's eyes sparkled with amusement.

Meanwhile, Estrella and Jason were cracking nuts and watching TV on the sofa, overhearing the laughter from the living room. Estrella suggested, "Maybe we should consider training him professionally."

Jason responded, "Sure, and you can have a few more kids to take over the business, so we're not left hanging in the future."

"More kids?" Estrella asked.

"Four or five should do," Jason replied.

Estrella laughed it off. "Dream on!"

The family enjoyed a harmonious atmosphere, with neither Landon nor Kristin bringing up the marriage or the certificate again. Keith and Amber noticed Jason's affection toward Isaac and Estrella, which only improved their opinion of him, especially after hearing from Autumn how Jason had risked his life and given up his wealth for Estrella the previous year.

So, when they left, they quietly told Cole, "Jason's doing well now."

Estrella cooed affectionately, melting Autumn's heart instantly. Turning to her, she teased, "Already a mom and still acting like a baby with me." She softened her tone, "Did someone give you a hard time out there? Tell me, and I'll set things straight for you."

"No," Estrella nuzzled her chin into her shoulder, "I just missed you, that's all."

She could vividly recall a time in elementary school when she was tripped by a classmate during PE. Autumn, usually timid and easygoing, stormed into the school to confront the other child's mother.

No apology seemed enough then.

It was the first and only time Estrella remembered Autumn tearing into someone publicly, throwing caution to the wind.

"It's alright," Estrella reassured. Autumn then said, "I'll make your favorite, chicken stew with baby potatoes. Make sure you have some more."

"Will do."

"Estrella, I know you're thinking about getting back with Jason. Don't worry, I'll talk to your dad. I'll get your family registry document sorted," Autumn promised.

"Thanks, Mom." Estrella expressed her gratitude with a kiss on Autumn's cheek, "Mom, I want to learn cooking from you."

As the clock neared seven, the family gathered around the dinner table. Autumn brought up, "Jesse and Bryce's wedding is coming up, isn't it? Don't you have any thoughts, Quincy?"

Over the past few days, Autumn had everything figured out. Once she helped smooth things over with Jason, she planned to negotiate terms with him. They should live with her after the reconciliation, so she could also look after Isaac.

At the drop of her words, Cole looked up at her.

At that moment, they were all in this together, leaving him the odd one out.
