Getting him to say 'let's get back together' in person was no small feat!

Cole glanced toward the dining area and remarked, "Estrella must be on her way back, right? Time for dinner, I guess!"

At that moment, Cole still felt a touch awkward.

"Dad, Jason, Isaac." Just as he finished speaking, Estrella returned.

Seeing Estrella back, Isaac snapped out of his daze and immediately felt aggrieved, "Mommy."

"What's wrong, baby? Why are your eyes all red?" Estrella immediately took Isaac into her arms, her heart aching at the sight of his distress.

Jason spilled the beans about Isaac's sneaky pepper-tasting adventure, leaving Estrella torn between laughter and tears. She comforted Isaac, "Honey, next time you're hungry, just call Mommy, okay? I'll sort something out for you!"

Having already played the strict parent, Estrella was all about coddling Isaac now.

With a bit of coaxing from Estrella, Isaac nodded and buried his little face into her neck, his tears dampening her skin.

Feeling his tears, Estrella kept comforting and kissing him until the call for dinner came. Isaac then managed to brighten up and enjoy the meal.

At dinner, Cole praised Jason for his efforts and was surprised to learn he could cook.

Jason brushed it off as no big deal.

After dinner, they told Isaac a story. Once he was asleep, Jason couldn't help but show off a bit, casually mentioning to Estrella, "Dad asked me to get the family record book today."

He was clearly thrilled but tried to maintain a nonchalant facade.

Seeing right through him, Estrella walked over and playfully massaged his face, cooing at him, "Oh, aren't you accomplished? Handling so much today, even soothing Isaac. How should I reward you?"

Her hands worked their magic, and Jason immediately reacted, wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her close, "Flirting with me?"

Estrella laughed, "Jason, I was touching your face, not anything else."

But before she could finish, Jason pulled her into a kiss.

Afterwards, nestled in his arms, Jason pondered, "Sweetheart, do you prefer a traditional or a Western-style wedding?"

Meanwhile, Jason, in the middle of a meeting, dropped everything upon hearing the news and sped to the site.

Twenty minutes later, with Estrella, Jason, and the police converging at the park, they were all desperate for any lead. Drew was already scanning surveillance footage for clues.

Seeing her daughter and son-in-law, Autumn's tears flowed anew, "Estrella, Jason, I'm so sorry! I failed to protect Isaac. It's all my fault!"

Her apology was heart-wrenching, a testament to the fear and guilt overwhelming her.

Jason gently patted Autumn on the shoulder, offering words of comfort, "Mom, this isn't your fault. Those guys came prepared; they would've found a way to make their move no matter what."

Estrella wrapped her arms around Autumn, adding, "Mom, Jason's right. Even if I had been there, I might not have been able to prevent Isaac from being taken." She continued, "Right now, what we need to do is to give the police a clear account of what happened, so we can find Isaac as soon as possible."

Hearing Estrella's words, Autumn lifted her hand to wipe away the tears streaming down her face and recounted, "Daniela and I were here, playing in the sandbox with Isaac when those men in black suits came over and took Isaac."

"Daniela and I immediately rushed over to snatch Isaac back, but they pushed us to the ground."

"I got up and chased after them. There must have been seven or eight of those men. They carried Isaac into a Mercedes-Benz van and drove off. I know I should have made an effort to remember the license plate, but I was so frantic at the moment, I just couldn't focus on it."

As she spoke, Autumn's distress overwhelmed her, and she broke down crying again.
