30 Days Till I Divorce My Husband novel Chapter 382

But every time he saw her, he couldn't help the surge of desire within him, the uncontrollable urge to possess her. That kind of longing, nobody could understand. So, when Estrella showed him tenderness, Jason just couldn't hold back anymore. To hell with reason and self-control!

He wanted her, needed her, only her.

Jason’s sudden kiss caught Estrella off guard, her hands instinctively pressed against his chest, trying to push him away. But just as she managed to create some distance, Jason swiftly wrapped one arm around her waist and the other behind her head, pulling her back into his embrace, leaving no room for escape. Despite Estrella being quite capable of handling herself, Jason was serious now, and she was no match for him.

Estrella's eyes stayed open, watching Jason as he kissed her, seeing him close his eyes, lost in the moment. Jason’s lips were so soft. Her hands, initially poised between them, gradually ceased their struggle, no longer pushing him away. Her surrender was all the invitation Jason needed. He deepened the kiss, drawing her tender tongue into his mouth, entwining it with his in a passionate tangle.

Estrella's legs turned to jelly, her hands clutching at his shirt as Jason kissed her with increasing fervor and depth, leaving her tongue tingling, her lips numb, yet he seemed reluctant to let her go. Eventually, when Estrella pushed him away to catch her breath, Jason cradled her face in his right hand, waiting for her to recover before he claimed her lips once again, resuming their intimate dance.

It wasn’t until both were dizzy, Estrella nearly losing her temper, that Jason finally released her, holding her face in his hands, their foreheads resting together, unwilling to part even for a moment. After catching their breath, a sense of reality slowly returned. Jason noticed Estrella's lips, red and slightly swollen from his kisses, gently caressing them with his finger, chuckling, “Looks like I made your lips swell.”

“…,” Estrella, feigning annoyance and lifting an eyebrow, retorted, “Call me grandma.”

Jason pinched her cheek playfully, “I was just kissing you, not asking to get back together.”

Estrella let out a forced laugh, her smile not quite reaching her eyes, “Fine, you win, you’re good at playing the part. Just don’t go crazy on me, and we’ll call it even.”

Jason’s expression darkened, he grasped her chin firmly, “Estrella, don’t mess around out there, don’t get others involved.”

Estrella couldn’t be bothered with him, tossing a bottle of liniment at him, “Leave now, or I’m calling the cops.” With that, she began to pack up her first aid kit. Seeing her about to leave with the kit, Jason reached out and grabbed her wrist, “Wait, sweetheart, don’t go just yet.”

Estrella turned, her gaze dripping with disdain. Here we go again.

With that, he popped the trunk of the car, sat down, and patted the space next to him, “Sit.” Estrella didn’t move. Jason pulled her over, reassuring her, “We’re right at your doorstep. I wouldn’t dare do anything to you here.”

Estrella looked at Jason, her gaze sincere, “Jason, whether you choose to stay or go, whatever decision you make, I won’t blame you. I understand. I just hope you always remain the proud, spirited Jason I know.”

At her words, Jason’s eyes welled up with emotion. Then Estrella added, “If you can’t get past what happened with my dad and Landon, if you can’t let go of the past thirty years, then don’t force yourself. Forgiveness isn’t necessary for everything. No matter what happens, Isaac will always be your son.”

Upon hearing this, Jason wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close and kissing her forehead. He was moved by her words, wanting to hold her, to kiss her. She had always been the best Estrella, the one who understood him the most. With just one look from him, she could instantly tell what was on his mind, understanding his unspoken words as if they were whispered into her ear.

Jason planted a tender kiss on her forehead, his heart aching for her perseverance and the worries that shadowed her thoughts. He felt a deep empathy for her struggles, cherishing her resilience and the concerns she harbored.

Estrella, in turn, was acutely aware of the turmoil within Jason, understanding the insurmountable barrier that prevented him from reconciling with the Nelson family. She knew he couldn't delve back into the events that unfolded thirty years ago, nor seek justice or explanations from anyone. He had strived for fairness with all his might, yet the expectation for him to embrace everyone as before was an unfair demand on him.

As Jason enveloped her in his arms, Estrella lifted her gaze towards him. In response, Jason tightened his embrace, his lips continuously pressing gentle kisses on her head, a silent vow of unending support and affection.
