30 Days Till I Divorce My Husband novel Chapter 493

After adding her as a friend, Taylor didn't immediately give Leonora her phone back. Instead, he pulled out the latest model from his car and said, "The new one might be better for you."

Seeing Taylor offer her another phone, Leonora took it, saying, "Alright, I'll switch to this one then."

With that, she grabbed the two gifts, waved at Taylor, and headed upstairs.

Taylor didn’t leave right away. He stayed there, looking up at her apartment. Only when her room light turned on did he get in his car and check Leonora's social media.

Leonora's social media settings showed posts from the last six months. She had posted four times: a photo at a cat café, a picture of making dumplings with her mom, a spicy crawfish eating challenge with Joselyn, and a short video of them at a spa retreat.

In the video, Leonora was laughing so joyfully that it warmed Taylor’s heart.

He wished he could go to a spa retreat with her, to feel that same happiness in the hot springs.

Zooming in to focus on Leonora, Taylor couldn't bear the thought of her marrying another man, calling someone else "husband," and having kids with them.

The thought alone made him feel suffocated and anxious.

He didn't want to lose Leonora. Not one bit.

So, he picked up the phone and called Thomas, "Thomas, find something for my uncle to do. Keep him busy."

"Sure thing, boss."

If Grant wanted to return, he'd have to wait!

And although Taylor never liked anyone's posts, after hanging up, he liked all four of Leonora's posts.

At that moment, he didn’t realize how much he cared about Leonora.

Meanwhile, when Leonora got home, her mom nagged her for being late.

Feeling guilty, Leonora didn’t argue back. She just took Taylor’s gifts to her room.

Having already showered at the spa, she was too lazy to shower again. She changed into her pajamas and sat down at her desk.

Checking the smartphone Taylor gave her, Leonora didn’t switch to it. She neatly repackaged it and placed it in the drawer.

Every time a new model came out, Taylor would give her the latest one, sometimes delivered by Blake.

Yet, Leonora never used any of the phones Taylor gave her; she always used the ones she bought herself.

All the gifts from Taylor, she kept at Joselyn’s place.

After putting the phone back in the drawer, Leonora opened the other gift box, revealing an emerald necklace, perfect for summer dresses.

Leonora didn’t know its price, only that it was exceptionally green and beautiful!

If she wore it, it would definitely look amazing.

Taylor’s gifts always seemed to suit her.

However, Leonora only glanced at it a few times without even taking the necklace out of the box. She then tidied up the packaging and stuffed it back into the drawer.

As for the likes Taylor left on her social media, Leonora didn’t take them to heart. She received many likes and comments each time she posted, so she didn’t think much of Taylor’s likes.

Seeing Joselyn so excited, Leonora calmly said, “Joselyn, don’t overthink it. You have to believe I’m not like his previous girlfriends. At least they were girlfriends, what am I?”

Leonora was always clear-headed about her relationship with Taylor. She wouldn’t let his gifts cloud her judgment; she always considered everything neutrally.

Seeing Joselyn didn’t believe her and was about to debate, advocating for Taylor, urging her to seize the opportunity with Taylor, Leonora said first, “Besides, Taylor and I have already talked it over. Once Grant comes back, I'll play out this act with him, and then he'll set me free.”

"So, Joselyn, let's not overthink or add drama to ourselves, okay?"

It was only when Leonora mentioned Grant that Joselyn felt like she'd been hit over the head with a realization. She remembered that Taylor and Leonora were together because of Grant, because Taylor wanted to get back at Grant.

Joselyn stared intently at Leonora, watching her look so calm and indifferent, and felt it was a pity.

After pondering for a moment, she sighed helplessly and said, "Since everything's been laid out, let's leave it at that for now!"

Then she comforted, "Arielle, don't take it too hard, don't overthink. After all, people get divorced every day, and relationships break up all the time. Just treat it as a practice run at love, enjoy the moment for what it is. After all, Taylor is a decent lover."

Joselyn had always harbored some fantasies, but when Taylor and Leonora settled all their matters, Joselyn couldn't help but feel that men were so pragmatic. She couldn't help but feel sorry for her friend and thus tried to look on the bright side.

With encouragement from Joselyn, Leonora smiled and said, "Don't worry! I won't overthink things. I know what I want."

Leonora had always been clear about what she wanted and knew that she and Taylor could never be. So, she had always managed her emotions well.

Besides, she wouldn't fall for someone who forced themselves on her.

As she finished speaking, the phone next to Leonora suddenly rang.

She looked down to see it was a call from an unknown number.
