Joseph smiled. “I’m from the Zahn medical sect. I know more than you think, so don’t bother trying to hide things from me. Relax, I’m not here to cause you trouble. Besides, you don’t have anything I need.”

Mary looked at Joseph. “You’re from the Zahn medical sect?”

Joseph said, “You really are uninformed. Don’t you know who I am? I’m Yara Zahn’s boyfriend.”

Mary’s eyes widened. “You’re Ms. Yara’s boyfriend?”
