After cursing Benson out in her room, Madison suddenly remembered—Sierra didn't know yet. She rushed out to find her.
Sierra was sitting on the bed, her face slightly pale, about to rest when the door slammed open.
"Maddy? What's wrong?"
Seeing her storm in, Sierra sat up, concerned.
"It's that damn Benson again!" Madison fumed, shoving her phone toward Sierra. "Look at this garbage! He just messed everything up again!"
"The Marison Cup and the judges already cleared your name. People were finally moving on from your relationship with him, and what does he do? He goes and makes a public announcement!
"He had all this time to say something, but no—he waited until now, when everything was dying down, just to drag you back into the mess!
"Now people are attacking you all over again! He's a walking disaster—you should've ditched him ages ago!"
Madison's rant blurred into background noise as Sierra picked up the phone and read the statement.
"Statement: I, Benson, confirm that Sierra and I are indeed in a relationship…"
Sierra stared at the screen in utter disbelief, her grip on the phone tightening with each second.
The entire statement was carefully worded, seemingly written to defend her—but that one phrase, "in a relationship," was enough to throw her right back into the public firestorm.
They had already broken up!
So why?
With a sharp snap, her fist clenched tightly, her knuckles turning white.
Madison, noticing Sierra's clenched fists, quickly switched gears and sat beside her, her voice softer.
"Cee, don't be upset. Tomorrow, I'll personally make sure Benson regrets this."
At the Lopez Residence, Felicia's emotions were on a rollercoaster in minutes.
When she first saw the news about Benson and Sierra's relationship going viral—especially with comments blasting Sierra as a fraud who got in through connections—she was thrilled.
But just as she was enjoying the show, the officials and judges stepped in to clear things up.
Watching the public flip from boycotting Sierra to praising her talent, Felicia was furious, grinding her teeth in frustration.
Yet, after two hours had passed, the attacks weren't dying down at all.
"Sierra, get lost. Get out of the Marisol Cup!"
"With her competing, is this even a fair competition anymore?"
"If Sierra's allowed to stay, the other contestants might as well drop out—there's no way they can win."
"Rigged champion, trash, scum… disgusting."
"I hate cheaters. Just die!"
The moment Sierra opened Twitter, her entire feed was flooded with hate. Some had even edited her photo to look like a memorial picture, and worse, her campus and home address had been leaked.
People claiming to be "old classmates" had dug up her past—saying she used to chase after Benson—and the internet was ripping her apart, calling her shameless.
Madison's face turned red with anger, her fingers flying across her phone, typing furiously.
"Screw you! Your whole damn family can go to hell! Fairness? If you could play at the level she did in the video, you'd be competing too! You act like you own the planet—why don't you go claim the damn sky while you're at it?"
