Sierra wanted to tell him to stop calling her that but didn't know how, so she pretended not to hear him.
After tying Theo's tie, she suddenly remembered she was about to be late for school. Without another word, she bent down, slipped under his arm, and ran straight into the bathroom.
Watching his adorable new wife, Theo adjusted his tie with a smile.
By the time Sierra came downstairs fully dressed, Theo was already having breakfast. Seeing her head straight for the door without looking back, he called out, "Have a bite first."
"There's no time," she answered while putting on her shoes. "I have a piano lesson today, and it's hard to get a cab from here. I need to leave early."
Grabbing a plate containing breakfast from the table, he handed it to her just as she was about to step out the door.
"I'll skip it, thanks," she said with a smile before pushing the door open.
However, he pulled her away from the door, placed the plate in her hands, and put on his own shoes. "There's no rush. Let me give you a ride."
She was dumbfounded as she stood there, holding a plate of food before she followed him out of the villa.
"Good morning, Mr. and Mrs. Gray," Adrian greeted them with a bright smile.
Sierra had heard the title "Mrs. Gray" before, so she didn't even notice the way Adrian addressed her.
Halfway through the drive, she nibbled on her toast and eggs while sneaking glances at Theo, who was busy reading documents.
When they arrived at the school, Adrian had barely parked before Sierra hopped out of the car. "I'm heading in now. Bye!"
Theo watched her disappear into the school campus with a faint smile at his lips.
From the driver's seat, Adrian raised an eyebrow, his eyes widening as he glanced at the rearview mirror. A cold glance from Theo was enough to make him behave and drive back to the company.
Theo sent her to school every morning for the rest of the week without fail.
As more students noticed her alighting from a luxury car, rumors started flying—had she reconciled with Benson?
"What are you staring at?" She smiled playfully as she stopped in front of him.
He couldn't help but pull her into his arms and murmured with a serious expression, "I'm just admiring my beautiful wife."
Her eyes widened in surprise—she hadn't expected him to be glib-tongued.
By the time they arrived at Gray Manor, it was nearly 6:00 pm. The moment they stepped inside, they could feel that something was off.
Benson was in the center, being flanked by Sophie and Janet. One was quietly shedding tears while the other looked down her nose at everyone. Sitting across from them was Liam, who looked helpless.
Edward had a stern expression, and his eyes were filled with disappointment. His face only softened into a smile when he saw Sierra.
"Sierra, come and sit down. I asked the chef to make your favorite dishes."
Janet scoffed from the side, finally tearing her gaze away from Sophie. "Seriously, aren't you guys late? Don't you know it's rude to keep us all waiting?"
