Sierra looked up, meeting Theo's burning gaze. She felt so nervous that she could not breathe, so she quickly turned her head away.
However, Theo did not allow her to hide anymore. He began rubbing his thumb over her lips before pinching her jaw, forcing her to turn her head back toward him.
"Sierra, do you hate me?" he asked as he moved his head closer toward her, and his breath brushed against her face.
Sierra's shoulders trembled, and her eyes flickered. After a long time, she shook her head.
Looking much happier, Theo continued guiding her, "Do you hate the idea of living with me?"
As she looked up, she met his gaze and gulped as memories of them kissing began flashing through her mind.
She had to admit that she did not hate Theo's intimate touches. In fact, somewhere along the line, she had even grown slightly dependent on him.
She was used to waking up with him by her side every morning, used to asking for his opinion whenever she played the piano, used to how he would take care of her…
She was even used to how he would kiss every now and then.
Her heart began to race, and her face turned into an even darker shade of red. She couldn't help but panic after realizing that she had fallen for Theo.
Noticing the change in Sierra's eyes, Theo reached out, pulling her into his embrace. With a deep voice, he asked, "Sierra, will you stay with me until we grow old together?"
Sierra tensed before she slowly relaxed. She then buried her face in the crook of his neck and murmured, "Alright."
It was a simple answer, but enough to fill Theo with joy. He leaned back, looking into her shy eyes and confirming, "Do you agree to it?"
She covered her face with her hands and nodded, feeling so embarrassed that she wished she could dig up a hole right there and then.
The fact that she had fallen for her ex-boyfriend's uncle, who was now her husband, was just…
Sierra took a few deep breaths before successfully calming her racing heart. However, Theo immediately pulled her hands down and kissed her once again as his familiar scent wafted in the air around her.
She pulled away from him and looked at him. She was shocked to see such a side of him when she met Theo's deep and intense gaze.
"We still have a lifetime ahead of us." Theo's charming voice rang out before he kissed her once more.
After expressing their feelings for each other, their relationship became much more intimate, and just like any ordinary couple, they held hands as they went for dinner.
…
At around 8:00 pm, Sierra was sitting in the piano room when she received a call from Louis, asking her to announce to the public that she was already married.
Frowning, she took her phone and walked out of the piano room.
Once she arrived at Theo's study, she peeked her head inside before knocking carefully. "Theo, the school has just asked me to make an official statement now. Did Mr. Carter say anything to you?"
Theo put down his pen and gestured for her to come in.
