Abandoned by All I Took It All Back novel Chapter 125

"Hitting you sullies my hands. I'm going to go wash them now. You have five minutes to sign the divorce papers. After that, I'll be back to collect on all the pain you've caused me."

Summer looked down at the man who was now bent over.

This man she had once looked up to, once adored.

Now, he was as pathetic as a stray dog.

Blood trickled from the corner of Vincent's mouth. He slumped, barely able to stand.

His bloody lips trembled, wanting to deny her words, but he could only shake his head frantically.

He desperately wanted to know about her condition, to stay by her side, to be with her...

Suddenly, Vincent seemed to snap out of it.

His expression shifted from shock to terror. He had never seen this side of Summer before.

The wife who was once as gentle as water now had a fire in her eyes that could burn him to ashes.

Those slaps had landed not just on his face, but deep in his heart.

He was on the verge of breaking down.

He couldn't lose Summer!

Painful tears streamed down Vincent's face. He couldn't lose her. He wanted to explain, to hold on.

But all he could taste in his throat was rust, and he couldn't utter another word.

The crowd, however, was thoroughly enjoying the show.

"You go, girl! That bastard deserves it!"

What you don't want done to you, don't do to others. So many people beg for forgiveness after they've done wrong, but they never stop to think how they would react if the roles were reversed.

To use "I love you" as an excuse to inflict endless pain upon someone.

Is that really love?

Summer had exhausted her strength. Her body swayed for a moment, but she forced herself to stand tall, not wanting to appear weak. She turned to head to the restroom.
