Abandoned by All I Took It All Back novel Chapter 254

She'd gained a few inches around her waist. It looked like the road to losing weight would be a long one.

Her best friends had already prepared a celebration party for her.

Twenty minutes later, she arrived at the destination.

Only then did Janina realize that her friends had outrageously and extravagantly booked out an entire hotel floor.

A banner at the entrance announced the theme of the day.

[Welcome Back to the World, Queen!]

At the hotel entrance stood an archway made of fresh flowers. Janina felt like her wedding hadn't been this grand.

A polite hostess at the door gestured for her to enter.

Inside the restaurant, her three best friends came up to hug her one by one.

"You have a new identity now, and we'll raise the kids together. Look how lucky they are to have so many mothers!" Maggie said, handing Janina a glass of champagne.

"Tonight, we eat and play to our hearts' content. We've booked this whole floor. The theme is going wild."

"Oh, by the way, I've got Liam and Joy covered for clothes," Wendy Clifford added.

Liam and Joy were the names of the two children.

Liam was the older brother. Joy was the younger sister.

Janina didn't want Wendy to spend the money. She knew Wendy had a heavy burden on her shoulders, with most of her earnings going to support her family.

She wondered how her brother, Baron Clifford, was doing now.

But refusing would seem too distant.

She thought for a moment and decided to be honest.

"Please don't buy any more. You alone bought ten outfits. Babies grow so fast, they can't possibly wear them all. We have so many at home already, it's such a waste."

Wendy was unfazed. "They can wear something new every day."

Janina quickly cut her off.

"I appreciate the thought, all of you, but my brothers also bought a ton. Any more and we'll need two rooms just to store them. So I'm saying this now: no more clothes, diapers, or formula."

Janina wasn't just being polite; it was true. Forgetting the clothes for a moment, they had hundreds of packs of diapers alone.

A stage was already set up in the center of the restaurant's main hall.

Melody brandished a microphone. "The stage is ours tonight! Everyone, come on up and sing!"

Wendy Clifford walked onto the stage, holding a microphone, and said with a meaningful tone.

"On this special day, let's the four of us relive our younger days. No matter what happens in the future, may we always be as free, happy, and carefree as we were back then."

Maggie pulled Janina onto the stage with her.

"Let's get this party started!" Maggie roared into the microphone.

Her shout instantly transported them back to their university days.

The stage was fully equipped with all kinds of musical instruments and equipment.

As the music started, the four of them sang and danced on stage without a care in the world.

Everyone was completely immersed, letting loose and enjoying themselves to the fullest.

In a state of total relaxation, the four of them sang their hearts out, as if it were their very own concert.
