Abandoned by All I Took It All Back novel Chapter 313

The garden was empty, and the corner on the first floor was quiet, save for the sound of a man and woman's heavy breathing.

Jasmine had chatted with Clark last night and learned that he would be here today, introducing his girlfriend to his parents.

How could she possibly stand for that?

So, she had scouted the hotel in advance, picking out a secluded spot where they wouldn't be disturbed.

It was perfect for what she had in mind.

She wanted to prove to Clark that she was infinitely better than that stupid girlfriend of his. Even if she couldn't be with him openly, so what?

Capturing a man's heart was more powerful than anything else.

She knew men all too well. They craved excitement and novelty.

And every time, she gave him a different experience, leaving him completely addicted to her.

They tangled their way into a first-floor bathroom.

The lock on the last stall clicked shut. Marjorie stood there, numb with disgust, listening to the sounds of their lovemaking.

"Do you like it, Clark? I wore this just for you~" a seductive voice purred in his ear.

Clark ripped the clothes from her body, his head dipping to her neck, trailing kisses downward.

"I love it. I love it so much, my darling Jasmine. I love you so much..."

"Mmm..." Jasmine pushed against him, a dance of feigned resistance and eager surrender as he took her forcefully.

"Clark, who's better, me or her? Who do you love more?" the woman asked between gasps.

"You, of course. You're my sweetheart," came his hoarse reply.

His voice was soft and gentle, but for Marjorie, standing just outside, it was enough to make her see red.

A single door separated her from Clark, and it also separated them from the love they had shared for years.

She took a step toward the stall, the sounds of their passion growing louder.

Her hand reached for the handle, but she snatched it back at the last second.

But it was too late for regrets now.

Marjorie knew that she and West were truly over.

She wiped her tears and started tearing through her room, gathering every single thing Clark had ever given her. She listed them all for sale on a second-hand website.

If she was giving up her love for him, then his gifts were meaningless.

Then, she went through her phone and deleted every photo of the two of them.

Years of memories, from university until now, all wasted.

As she deleted the last trace of him, the pain in her heart seemed to lessen slightly.

She opened her bedroom door just as her mother, Abigail, was coming home.

Seeing her daughter, Abigail looked surprised for a moment, then glanced around the living room.

"Why are you home alone? Where's Clark? Weren't you meeting his parents today? How did you get back so early?"
