Abandoned by All I Took It All Back novel Chapter 433

Sensing the anger in Old Mr. Aurelius's voice, Julius stepped forward and quickly laid out the evidence he had found.

"These weren't ordinary snakes. Moreover, snakes this season are hibernating; they wouldn't have just crawled out on their own. So, I had people check all the places that sell snakes in Clayborne City. We found that someone did indeed buy snakes from the market, and from three different locations. To know if Hamlin bought them, we just have to ask the sellers."

As he finished, Julius had three snake sellers brought in.

Julius walked up to them. "Take a look around. Is the person who bought snakes from you that day in this room?"

Businessmen are sharp. Hearing Julius's words, they immediately understood that the snake buyer must be present.

Their eyes scanned the room, and all three pairs of eyes finally landed on Hamlin.

"It's him! It's him! That's him!" they all said in unison, pointing at him.

People in business often have exceptional memories, able to clearly recall what they sold on which day and what the customer looked like.

Besides, it had only been a few days, and Hamlin's full head of white hair made him particularly easy to recognize. The three sellers identified him at a glance.

Hearing their accusations, Hamlin instinctively flinched. He had never imagined that Julius would actually find all three sellers.

When he went to buy the snakes, he had deliberately gone to three different places to avoid suspicion.

But… despite all his efforts, he had been discovered.

Hamlin's face went ashen. He lowered his head, no longer trying to argue.

With the evidence laid bare, any further denial was meaningless.

When Old Mr. Aurelius learned the truth, he swayed on his feet, finding it hard to accept.

In his heart, Hamlin was more than just a servant; he was like a family member he saw day in and day out.

Elena, who had been silent all this time, was completely bewildered.

Not just Elena, but Old Mr. Aurelius and Julius also couldn't understand what Hamlin was saying.

What did he mean?

"You… you make yourself clear! I've never done anything to you, yet you wish for my line to be extinguished? Your heart is too black! And after the Aurelius family treated you so well! You ungrateful wretch!"

Being targeted by Hamlin, Elena's own temper flared.

It was because of him that she had nearly been branded a murderer.

Hamlin let out a disdainful snort. "Elena, a few years ago, you framed Fern for stealing and threw her out, disregarding the years of service our family has given. She wasn't even twenty years old. You completely ignored my pleas and cast her out."

Mentioning his daughter, Fern, the harshness on Hamlin's face softened for a moment, but as soon as he looked at Elena, his gaze turned cold and hateful again.
