"Alright, you guys, stop teasing my brother," Janina said, then turned to West. "You can go get back to your work, West. We're going to have a few drinks."

West nodded. "Alright, ladies. If you need anything else, just order from the menu. It's on me tonight, so eat whatever you like."

"We definitely won't hold back. Thanks, West!"

She had never brought this mysterious boyfriend to meet them. According to her, Farley was just a temporary fixture. They'd break up in six months at most, so there was no point in introducing him to everyone.

Janina's interest was piqued. "You're just after his body, aren't you?" she teased.

Maggie took a sip of her wine. "You're right. When it comes to that stuff, I'd rather have someone easy on the eyes. But I can't stand his personality, and the age gap is too big. We won't last." She was clear-eyed about that, always able to let go and never one to torture herself over a man.

Melody was getting a little tipsy, her cheeks flushed as she rested her chin on her hand. "If you can't stand it, then break up. You're young, find someone else. There's someone out there for you. Don't waste your time on the wrong person."
