Abandoned by All I Took It All Back novel Chapter 586

But Julius had changed.

Yvonne dropped the weak act, lifting her head to glare at him defiantly.

Julius looked down at her, a mocking smile playing on his lips as he met her resentful, pain-filled gaze.

He walked over to the dining table and picked up a fruit knife.

Returning to Yvonne, he slowly crouched down, patting the flat of the blade against her cheek. His eyes were ice-cold, his voice dripping with malice.

"I'm really starting to hate this face. Why don't I just ruin it?"

Yvonne shook her head in terror. *No, you can't do this to me,* she thought desperately. *You used to love me so much! Even if you don't love me now, what you felt for me back then was real!*

But the gag in her mouth prevented her from speaking her mind.

It was as if Julius could read her thoughts.

He glanced toward the door, then grabbed a fistful of Yvonne's hair and dragged her into the nursery.

With a flick of his foot, he kicked the door shut.

Yvonne stared at the closed door in despair. The apartment was soundproofed. When Elena had bought the place, she’d insisted on using the best materials for the renovation. She loved her quiet, so even the windows were soundproof glass.

Only now did Yvonne understand just how terrifying a crazed Julius could be.

She couldn't die. She didn't want to die!

She knew that by locking her in here, Julius intended to torture her without interruption.

Yvonne struggled from the floor into a kneeling position and began to kowtow, hoping he would spare her for the sake of their past together.

"What's wrong? Scared now?" he sneered. "You weren't so scared when you were going after Janina, were you?"

Yvonne met his unnervingly calm eyes, and the last of her hope drained away.

A muffled, agonizing groan escaped through the gag.

The pain was so intense that when he pulled the blade out, her body trembled violently, breaking out in a cold sweat.

Julius wanted her to suffer. He wanted to beat her, to make her feel physical agony. He didn't hit women—unless they weren't worthy of being called human.

And in his eyes, Yvonne was worse than an animal. He wasn't torturing a person; he was torturing a demon. How could he show mercy? A demon like her deserved to be cast into the deepest level of hell, never to be reincarnated.

If she recovered, she would only go after Janina and the children again.

At that thought, Julius raised the knife and stabbed her other leg. Then, with a flick of his wrist, he slashed a deep cut across her face.

The pain from her face was even more intense than from her legs. Blood streamed from the fresh wound.

Two stabs in the legs, one slash on the face. He had found out that Yvonne had tried to poison Janina three times. One wound for each attempt.

The almost frenzied torture finally broke her. Yvonne was terrified.
