Accidentally Pregnant By My Alpha Best friends (Madeline) novel Chapter 906

Madeline:

In a strange way, watching them suffer felt incredibly satisfying.

Every time they discovered that someone they had wronged was doing better than them, or that someone they had believed was lost was actually alive, the shock on their faces was priceless.

In fact, their attempts to reconnect kept backfiring.

When Elgin tried to approach Elara, she simply walked away from him.

Did Elgin really think he could call out to them and they would come running back, forgetting everything he had done to them in the past?

Then it was finally time for the dethroning ceremony.

The two of them immediately began crying at the top of their lungs.

Honestly, I should have expected it.

They resisted the entire process, refusing to cooperate or even get down on their knees.

Eventually, Baxter had enough.

He stepped forward and punched both of them in the nose, knocking them to the ground before the warriors pinned them down.

I stood off to the side with Baxter's arm wrapped around me, watching everything unfold.

"Help us, Baxter–you are our friend–" one of them kept screaming.

His cries continued until the Moon Goddess's lightning struck them.

And finally, it was over.

Both of them passed out.

"The next time they wake up, they'll be back in prison, only this time they'll be even more alone. This isn't over for them yet," Baxter murmured to me as we started walking back toward the car.

"Let's go back home, please. Let's just–start a new chapter now," I murmured.

Baxter gently rubbed my back as we headed toward the car.

The whole way back to the mansion, I just rested my head on Baxter’s chest.

"I have good news for you," I told him.

The moment we arrived at Rosetta's mansion and stepped inside, Baxter stopped in the doorway and turned toward me.

Everyone else hurried past him into the house.

I knew exactly why.

We had planned this.

Baxter clearly noticed something was off, especially when Ron and Byron practically had to push past him to get inside.

From the confused look on his face, I could tell he was wondering why everyone was acting so strangely.

He was about to find out.

"Good news? What kind?" Baxter asked, curiosity shining in his eyes.

I bit my bottom lip and walked ahead of him.

His eyebrow rose as he watched me sway my hips down the hallway toward the main living room.

I turned the corner and stopped among everyone else.

Baxter appeared a moment later.

His eyes widened.
