Aria scrolled through the comments.
[LightBringer: Cutting ties at a time like this? I bet it's because they found out she got pregnant out of wedlock.]
The comment had over thirty thousand likes.
She clicked on the user’s profile. It was a man who mostly liked suggestive videos and had no problem just making things up.
[LightBringer: I saw the agreement was signed a few days ago. If she was just 'injured,' why not post it then? Why now? Isn't it because they wanted to cut ties before their dirty laundry got aired?]
[LightBringer: If this isn't about some family shame, I'll eat my hat!]
Aria’s face was expressionless as she continued to scroll. Shockingly, many people agreed with this line of reasoning.
[SilverInkFox: She looks pretty, but you really can't judge a book by its cover!]
[ThornCompass: A woman like that must be high-maintenance, right? If you need money, hit me up. I'll pay a thousand a night, I'm a willing volunteer!]
The comments section was a cesspool.
Mira was furious. “How can they say things like that about you? Aria, we can't let them get away with this!”
With that, Mira grabbed the phone and started typing furiously: [You're the disgusting trolls who should be cursed! You have no evidence and you just start making wild accusations? If you're so good at investigating, go solve a real crime for the police instead of spouting garbage online!]
A few seconds after Mira posted her comment, replies flooded in.
[ThornCompass: Triggered? Did we hit a nerve? You must be one of them, huh?]
A wave of similar comments poured in. Mira’s eyes welled up with tears of frustration, which she fought to hold back.
It was as if she had committed some unforgivable crime.
“Don’t look at it.”
Aria screenshotted the trending topics as evidence while contacting a lawyer she knew.
“I’m already collecting evidence.”
In less than ten minutes, Aria was already working on a solution.
