After All the Hurt, She Chose Herself novel Chapter 304

"I didn't know you were coming, so I only made enough for one."

Mira waved her hands frantically. "I'm on a diet anyway! Just take good care of Aria!"

Raphael's lips curved into a faint smile. "Of course."

Mira couldn't shake the feeling that Raphael was acting entirely like the man of the house. He answered with such natural authority.

"Raphael, could you look into who scrubbed the internet?" Aria asked.

Hearing her use his first name, Raphael's gaze softened even more. "Of course."

He sent a few texts and had the answer in less than five minutes. He hesitated for a fraction of a second. "It was the Holt family in Javernia."

Bradley Holt's face immediately came to Aria's mind. She was thoroughly confused. "The Holt family? Bradley? Why would he do that?"

She had practically zero interaction with him. When they first met at the police station, Bradley had been openly hostile. Why would he proactively erase the negative press about her now?

Aria's gaze drifted to Raphael. Thinking about the tangled web between Raphael, Bradley, Ivy, and Gideon, she asked tentatively, "Does Bradley... have feelings for Ivy?"

Raphael remained silent for a moment before giving a slow nod.

"Is there any hesitation regarding my offer, Ms. Brent? Given the current state of the Rowan and Brent families, coming up with millions of dollars is going to be nearly impossible, isn't it?"

Bradley slid a bank card across the table. "I can cover your debt. In exchange, if anyone asks about Aria and Lilith's past, I expect you to stick to the original story."

Roxanne frowned in confusion. "The original story? You mean, keep claiming Lilith was Sylvia's daughter?"

Bradley nodded. "Sylvia's daughter is dead. Aria is your daughter now."

Roxanne's hands tightened as she stared at the card. "What good does that do? Will Aria accept it? She's determined to dig into her background."
