After saying goodbye to Ms. Ellington, Aria slipped into Raphael's car.
"Let's go transfer the shares."
Aria had put her phone on Do Not Disturb during the hearing. The moment she opened her messaging app, notifications flooded in.
They were all from her former colleagues.
They kept asking why she hadn't come to work yet, saying there were several important documents that needed her signature.
Aria frowned. She had already sent out a public announcement the previous night when she decided to transfer her shares to Raphael.
[Aria: Didn't I send out an announcement?]
[Kelly: Ms. Rowan, Henry's father came to the office to cause trouble. He's old, and the security guards don't dare to touch him... We really don't know how to handle this!]
Aria read the message and glanced guiltily at Raphael, who was focused on driving.
Was she really going to transfer the shares and then let Raphael immediately rush over to clean up her mess?
That didn't seem right.
Raphael had no reason to get involved in this mess in the first place.
Aria's voice was a little weak. "Maybe we should go to the company first and deal with this..."
Sure enough, she just couldn't do something so unscrupulous. Even though Evercrest Prosperity Holdings was thriving, it was still a pile of messes.
"If... after you see it, you're still willing to take over the shares, I'll give you an even better price..."
Raphael raised an eyebrow but said nothing, simply turning the steering wheel and heading toward Evercrest Prosperity Holdings.
As soon as they reached the company entrance, Aria heard a booming male voice throwing a tantrum.
When she walked in, she saw an agile elderly man in his eighties writhing on the floor.
Security and the front desk staff had formed a circle around him, but no one dared to touch him.
The old man was yelling nonstop. "So my son was negligent with one document? It's not like we won't accept the penalty, so why fire him?"
