After Being Replaced I Left Them All Behind-Now They Regret It novel Chapter 225

Chapter 225

Nicolas was completely sober now, but the effects of the drug were starting to kick in.

He could feel his body heating up, looking for an outlet to vent this restless energy.

But he wasn’t about to let Nicole’s scheme succeed.

He’d never been with a woman before-he was still pure, and he wasn’t going to let Nicole take that away from him.

His body was starting to get out of control, but his mind was still sharp, and he could still make his voice heard.

After all, going all the way takes effort-it’s not something that just happens.

The drug was only making him gradually lose his self-control, but it didn’t keep him from acting.

After Nicolas shouted a few times, voices drifted up from downstairs. “Hurry, Mr. Moore is calling for help-let’s go see what’s going on!”

Nicole heard the commotion below and the sound of people rushing up the stairs.

Nicole, still wrapped tightly around Nicolas, was totally dumbfounded.

‘Is Nicolas out of his mind? At a moment like this, he’s actually yelling for help and saying I’m harassing him?’ Nicole thought, her head spinning.

‘Isn’t he supposed to be the one grabbing me, treating me like his cure?’

She suddenly started to panic.

‘What if they burst in?’ she thought, her heart pounding.

Her mind spun, and she instantly let go of Nicolas.

She hurriedly messed up her hair, then pulled her spaghetti strap nightgown down off one shoulder.

She rumpled the skirt a bit and sat herself right in front of Nicolas.

Her eyes welled up with tears in an instant, turning red as she started to cry.

Nicole was a pro at turning on the waterworks whenever she needed-years of practice had made it second nature.

She looked at Nicolas, her voice trembling with disbelief and grievance as she shouted,

“Nicolas, how could you do this to me?”

Then she screamed even louder, “Help! Somebody help me! He’s assaulting me!”

Just then, someone started banging on the door, but neither Nicolas nor Nicole budged.

Since no one answered, the people outside just used a key and stormed right in.

Nicole heard the door opening.

She instantly hugged herself, acting all pitiful as she sobbed, “Nicolas, even if you’re drunk, you can’t just try anything with me!

“I like you, but I don’t want you doing something to me while you’re drunk…”

She left the rest unsaid, but everyone got the message.

Nicolas was totally blindsided-he never thought Nicole would play the victim and blame him instead, flipping the whole situation on its head.

His face turned even stormier.

Anyone walking in now would totally think he was the bad guy here, with her looking like

that.

He’d never realized before just how deep her tricks ran, or how dirty she could play.

The people who burst in glanced at the two of them, looking confused. “What the-

But things didn’t go the way Nicole had planned.

No one rushed over to help her up or comfort her.

And nobody sided with her or called out Nicolas for supposedly getting handsy while drunk

Marley, who’d just come in, shot Nicolas an awkward look and asked, “Mr. Moore, what do we do now? Is the camera in your room still on?”

Nicole whipped her head around to Marley, her eyes wide. “What camera?”

Nicolas gave her a mocking smile. “The live stream camera, of course.

“I forgot to mention-I was streaming and chatting with my fans before you even walked into

my room.

“So everyone watching just saw your little performance,” he added, his tone dripping with

sarcasm.

Let’s rewind half an hour.

After Jett left his room, Nicolas was just about to hit the sack when his phone rang.

It was Marley, the show’s director, calling.

Marley told him that earlier, one of the crew members was about to go clean up in the kitchen.

But the staff just happened to catch Nicole fixing him a honey drink—and slipping something into his cup.
