The gesture made Nicole want to curse under her breath. She thought, ‘Couldn’t Maxwell just give it a rest? Alicia doesn’t even want to pay him any attention, and he’s still forcing himself in. Is he some kind of masochist?’

Alicia looked up at Maxwell coldly and said, “Thanks, but I don’t like this flavor.”
