After I left, the twin Alphas went crazy novel Chapter 172

“It’s nothing,” he muttered. “A minor wound.”

But I knew better. Lirian had always been particular about his image, always keeping himself pristine, composed, never showing a sign of weakness.

For him to dismiss something that looked like a real injury—one that was likely caused during the mission earlier—meant it was more serious than he wanted to admit.

I hesitated for a moment, then wrapped my arms around him, pulling him closer.

“You should rest. You’re tired.” My voice softened, and I could feel his breath against my skin as he sighed.

“I’ll rest later,” he replied, his voice lower than usual. He held me close, and the warmth of his body was comforting in a way that I didn’t know I needed.

As I gently removed his jacket, I caught a glimpse of his expression, a fleeting look of vulnerability passing across his features.

“You’re in pain, aren’t you?” I asked quietly.

But Lirian shook his head, his eyes briefly meeting mine with an intensity that left me breathless.

“It’s nothing I can’t handle,” he said, though there was a hint of something deeper in his voice, something raw.

The tension between us thickened, and without warning, he pulled me closer.

The heat of his body was overwhelming, and his lips descended on mine in a kiss that was nothing short of dominating.

It was overwhelming, a forceful, desperate connection that left no room for protest.

His hands gripped my body tightly, and for a moment, everything else faded into the background.

His kiss deepened, taking control of the moment completely, and the rest of the world seemed to vanish around us.

My heart was happy yet emotional.

I wanted to enjoy the moment at my fullest but deep down I was emotional and thankful for having Lirian by my side now..

This deep kiss led into even hotter intimacy between us.

I could feel his body rubbing against mine, within no time our clothes were lying on the floor and he was on me..

He gently pushed himself in me and gave a deep moaning, and then he continued his light and polite jumping..

But this time I urged for more so I grasped him tight and asked for more..

I rubbed my hands on his back and continued to grow faster and faster..

I hesitated, not sure how to phrase what had been on my mind for days.

My thoughts had been clouded, but now, with Lirian so close, they seemed to demand attention.

My gaze met his, and I couldn’t help but ask about the bruise I had seen on his side the day before.

“What happened to your injury?” I asked, my voice low and concerned.

Lirian’s expression shifted, and a shadow passed over his face.

His eyes, usually so steady, now seemed to hold a weight that made my heart tighten.

He let out a slow sigh, taking a moment before responding.

“The pack has been facing some unusual problems lately,” he began, his tone growing more serious.

“Recently, there’s been an increase in rogue activity near our territory. And not just regular rogues either… there are some individuals showing up who are completely out of their minds. They’re attacking people without any clear reason, as though they’re being driven by something. It’s like they’ve lost control of themselves, as if they’re under the influence of some kind of drug or potion. We’ve had several reports, and crime rates around here have spiked dramatically.”

I could feel the tension in his voice as he spoke, his gaze flickering away for a moment before returning to me. The weight of his words hung heavily in the air.

“Are you saying they’ve been drugged?” I asked, my pulse quickening. I knew this sounded all too familiar.
