After rejecting my celebrity husband novel Chapter 2268

Chapter 2268: Chapter 2272: As If She Were Your Goddess

"Nonsense." Shangguan Feng sighed, "I just don’t want such a talented singer to be ruined by them. You know best, she’s my source of inspiration."

Randy is also Chinese, studying abroad, majoring in architecture. By chance, he met Shangguan Feng, initially working part-time as a very minor assistant for him. Later on, due to his outstanding performance and the fact that they were both Asian, Shangguan Feng appreciated him greatly. After graduation, Randy directly entered Shangguan Feng’s design company as his assistant. They were both superior-subordinate and friends, which is why Randy dared to joke with him.

"Actually, I think Miss Xu is even prettier in person than on TV, and she’s really... sexy, a bit like an Asian version of Angelina!"

"That’s just one aspect of her..." Shangguan Feng narrowed his eyes slightly, "I think she not only has a wild side but also a delicate one... On her, you can see a perfect fusion of completely different things, both Eastern finesse and Western passion..."

Randy laughed, "This is the first time I’ve heard you evaluate a woman, and it’s such a high evaluation, almost like she’s your goddess."

"Well, she’s pretty close." Shangguan Feng smiled too, then sighed again, "So, this time I must rescue her and send her back to Beijing."

Randy put down the coffee in his hand, "Mr. Shangguan, I think I need to offer you a suggestion. This situation seems more complicated than we imagined. I have a rather bad feeling about it."

This was the first time Randy returned to Rome with Shangguan Feng. From these few days, Randy already sensed that the people Xu Xia had entangled with were clearly not ordinary, and not ordinary at all. He always felt things would become very dire if it continued.

Shangguan Feng pondered for a moment, "This time, once we find some clues, I will immediately notify the police."

Previously, he worried about affecting Xu Xia’s image, so he hadn’t dared to contact the police. This time, Shangguan Feng resolved that as soon as any clue was found, he’d immediately inform them.
