"You can play the piano?" Qin Wanwan lifted her tear-streaked little face, her eyes still wet with tears but now tinged with curiosity.
"Of course." Luo Jun looked at her face, hesitated for a moment, but finally raised his palm to wipe her tears away, then he turned and walked off.
He walked to the piano nearby, skillfully pulled out the bench, opened the lid, and after sitting down, he turned to look at Qin Wanwan. Seeing that she was still standing in the same place, he impatiently raised an eyebrow.
"Come here!"
Qin Wanwan sniffled and walked up to him.
"What do you want to listen to?" Luo Jun asked.
"Can you play ’Doraemon’?" Qin Wanwan countered.
Doraemon?!
Luo Jun’s eyebrows twitched, seemingly disappointed with the childish request.
Nevertheless, he raised his hands to the keys.
"Listen carefully, I’ll play it just once."
With slender fingers on the keys, Luo Jun took a deep breath, then started to play.
His small face, his little hands, neatly danced over the keys like flowing clouds and water. His small figure sat in front of the piano, but naturally emitted an impressive presence.
The sunlight streamed in through the window, casting a golden glow on his profile. Watching him, Qin Wanwan had long forgotten about crying and was just listening intently to his playing.
Having lived four years, Qin Wanwan had heard countless piano performances and even attended many concerts, but this was the first time someone was playing the piano just for her.
The two little ones, one playing, the other listening, both engrossed.
By the time the piece was finished, the little girl had already forgotten why she was crying and immediately started clapping her small, tender hands.
