Luo Xiaoqian returned his smile, then embraced the little guy running over, "Was it Uncle Zimo who did this?"
"I washed the vegetables and set the tableware," Luo Jun said.
"Yes, we worked together," Leng Zimo also walked over, his gaze landing on the wine she was holding, "Shall we open it?"
"Of course, it’s specially bought to celebrate for you," Luo Xiaoqian handed over the wine.
He raised his hand to receive the wine, holding her hand along with the bottle.
Their skin touched, and it felt like a sudden electric shock. Her face warmed slightly, yet he tightened his grip, leaving her no chance to escape.
"Mo Mo, help mom get the slippers."
The little guy obediently ran to the hallway, and he leaned in, giving her a light peck on her lip.
His action was too quick and sudden; before she could react, he had straightened back up, taking the wine from her hand, "Where’s the wine opener?"
"Oh..." Luo Xiaoqian finally snapped back to reality, "It’s on the bar’s wine rack, in the small drawer."
By then, the little guy had brought over her slippers, and Luo Xiaoqian changed her shoes, placing the leather shoes back on the shoe rack in the hallway, then led the little one to wash hands.
When the two of them came out after washing their hands, Leng Zimo had already opened the wine, holding three cups, he walked to the dining table, placing them beside the plates, pouring wine for her and himself, and juice for Luo Jun.
Luo Xiaoqian raised her cup, "Come, Mo Mo, let’s toast Uncle Zimo, wishing him success in signing his new project."
"Okay," the little guy immediately imitated the adults and raised his wine glass, stretching it out, "Uncle Zimo, congratulations."
"Thank you!" Leng Zimo raised his wine glass, clinking it with the mother and son, "Cheers!"
