Chapter 133
Julian didn’t lose his temper outright–his refined upbringing wouldn’t allow it. He remained the handsome, elegant gentleman everyone
knew.
Yet his face had turned glacial, that subtle hint of warmth completely vanished. His eyes carried ice shards when he looked at people, creating an atmosphere of palpable tension throughout the executive floor.
The secretaries, in particular, avoided eye contact, scurrying away whenever they saw him approaching.
But Teddy, as his personal assistant, couldn’t escape. He spent the entire morning walking on eggshells.
Around eleven, Bob messaged to ask what Julian wanted for lunch.
Teddy suddenly had an idea. He replied: [I don’t think you need to prepare anything.]
Bob: [You don’t think?]
Teddy grinned mischievously: [That’s right. I have a little plan.]
As lunchtime approached, Louisa was reviewing project data in her office when her phone rang. She answered without checking the caller
“It’s me.”
“Teddy?” Recognizing his voice, she continued examining the documents. “What can I do for you?”
“I ordered Mr. Tudor’s lunch from the restaurant downstairs. I was planning to pick it up myself, but something urgent came up. I don’t have anyone available to send–could you possibly get it for me?”
“When does it need to be picked up?”
“Fifteen minutes from now.”
Louisa didn’t answer immediately, glancing at her watch.
Teddy sensed her hesitation. “Is that inconvenient?”
Louisa remained silent. How could she say it was inconvenient? The man had saved her life multiple times. Surely she could deliver one
meal?

‘No problem, she agreed. ‘I’ll pick it up.”
“Perfect! Thank you so much. Don’t forget–fifteen minutes.”
:
Teddy added one last reminder before hanging up.
Louisa acknowledged it and returned to her data analysis, making notes on paper as she worked. Time ticked by.
Shortly after, her phone rang again–Marlee calling.
“Ms. Forbes, I’ve brought your car back. Should we head to the construction site now?”
“Yes, wait for me downstairs. I’m coming down.”
Louisa grabbed her bag and headed out.
It was lunchtime, but neither Louisa nor Marlee had eaten. Once in the car, Marlee handed her a sandwich. “Ms. Forbes, have something
quick to eat.”
“Thanks.”
Taking the sandwich, Louisa suddenly remembered–she’d completely forgotten about Julian’s lunch. Half an hour had already passed.
“Oh no.”
“What’s wrong?” Marlee asked, puzzled.
“Nothing.” Louisa forced a smile.
She quickly called Teddy, who had just returned to the office and answered cheerfully. “Louisa, what’s up?”
“Sorry, I forgot to pick up Mr. Tudor’s lunch…”
Before she could finish, his expression fell. “Oh, shoot. I’m dead.”
Julian was already in a foul mood. Teddy had specifically created this opportunity for Julian and Louisa to reconcile–even deliberately disappearing to make it happen.
Now not only had they not made up, but his boss was going hungry because of his scheme.
“I’m so sorry,” Louisa apologized. “It wasn’t intentional.”
“Intentional or not, it doesn’t matter now.” Teddy moaned dramatically. “Ms. Forbes, remember this: if I’m drawn and quartered today, it’s on you. Please collect my remains.”

Louisa couldn’t help but laugh. “It’s just a meal. Is it really that serious? Hurry and get him some food. Mr. Tudor is kind–he won’t blame
you.‘
‘Kind only to you,‘ Teddy thought but didn’t say. He hung up and rushed to get Julian’s lunch.
Ten minutes later, Teddy entered the CEO’s office carrying the prepared meal.
Julian stood by the floor–to–ceiling windows, just ending a phone call.
Teddy quickly set the food on the table. “Mr. Tudor, lunch is served.”
Julian acknowledged with a sound and took his seat.
Teddy opened the containers one by one, all prepared by renowned chefs. He just hoped Julian wouldn’t mention the delay so he could
make a swift exit.
But the moment he opened the containers, he froze in shock. Every dish had been arranged in heart shapes–even the carrots had been carved into plump little hearts.
This was all Teddy’s doing–his instructions to the chef to help reconcile his boss with Louisa. He’d completely forgotten about this detail when he retrieved the meal himself.
To make matters worse, a card fell out.
Julian picked it up and read the elegant handwriting:
[Julian, don’t be angry anymore. Love you!]
Julian’s mouth twitched as he looked at Teddy. “This is… lovely. Since when did you have a crush on me?”

Teddy felt his soul leaving his body. Would someone please save him?
In the end, Teddy was forced to stand by and watch Julian consume each beautiful, meticulously crafted “heart“. He had lost all will to live, just waiting to clear the dishes and escape.
Julian dabbed his mouth elegantly with a napkin. “What’s on the schedule for this afternoon?”
Teddy didn’t immediately respond–hadn’t he already briefed him on today’s schedule?
Julian finally looked up, giving him a cool stare.
A light bulb went off in Teddy’s head. He suddenly understood what Julian was really asking.

Chapter 133
“You have a multinational video conference at four, a senior management meeting at four–thirty, and dinner with the Chairman of the Young Group at six–thirty,” he reported promptly.
“As for the time between now and four, there are no critical appointments. However…”
“Go on.”
“The Tudor Group currently has two real estate projects: ‘Oakview Residences‘ and ‘Oakridge Commons. Oakview Residences is selling -almost sold out. Oakridge Commons isn’t performing as expected. Perhaps you’d like to inspect it?”
“Who’s in charge of that project?” Julian asked.
“It was uncertain before, but now Louisa is handling it.”
Teddy carefully observed his boss’s reaction. “Would you like to take a look, Mr. Tudor?”
Julian gave him a bland look. “Do I need to get involved in such a minor matter?”
