Chapter 156
The man efficiently caught Louisa’s limp body while simultaneously grabbing her phone and ending the call.
Louisa? Louisa? Sadie e
called out anxiously,
y, unauate of what had happened.
No response. When she checked her phone, the call had been disconnected.
An accidental hang–up? She called back, but after ringing a few times, the call was rejected.
A sense of foreboding swept over Sadie. Louisa knew she was worried and wouldn’t have hung up deliberately. Something must have happened
The first person who came to Sadie’s mind was Julian, but she only had Teddy’s number. She started her car while dialing.
Teddy answered immediately. Ms. Watson?”
“Mr. Young, Louisa might be in trouble. Is Mr. Tudor there? Could you please put him on?”
Julian was in the middle of an international meeting, but Teddy, knowing how important Louisa was to him, didn’t hesitate to interrupt.
Julian paused the meeting and took the phone.
“Hello?” His cool, deep voice provided a small meas
measure of reassurance.
Sadie quickly explained what had happened. “I’m afraid something’s happened to Louise.”
“I understand,” Julian said simply before hanging up.
On the other end, Sadie was bewildered. That’s it? So calm? Was he going to help or not?
Meanwhile, Julian immediately ended his meeting and instructed Teddy, “Prepare the car.”
As he walked out, he called the property management office to check the surveillance footage, then dialed Noah–the man he’d assigned to protect Louisa,
She lost contact after entering the garage. Go check what happened immediately.”
“Got it,” Neal replied, starting his car. “Ms. Forbes spent most of the day at the Dreamscape Clubs without incident.
“Some idiot exposed himself in the Dreamscape garage, and Ms. Forbes noticed him. She was lease the whole was back.”
Noal continued, That guy was stopped at the entire to her complex, so I didn’t follow her in. He’s still outside definitely not the one who went after Ms.
Forbes
Julian remained silent, ulready guessing who had sent this
“Find her, no matter what!” he ordered.

Chapter 156
Julian had already reached the Tudor Gup’s garage. Bob drove up with the rat. Teddy opened the back door, and Julian got in. As they pulled away. Teddy
remarked with confusion:
“Logically, Ms. Forbes should have been safe once she entered the complex. How could she suddenly lose contact? Cur security is so strict.”
The security is strict for outsiders, not residents,” Julian explained, his expression grim. “I gave Noah permission to enter, and Griege also bought an apartment here to enter freely. If someone wants to get in, they’ll find a way.”
Teddy finally understood.
Meanwhile, Noah drove into the complex gange. A red sports car approached from the opposite direction, passing him closely
Instinctively, he glanced at the driver, but could only see someone wearing a black baseball cap pulled low over their face. The car sped past before he could
make out any details.
Noah quietly noted the license plate number.
At the same time, Sadie was racing back to the complex. Still uncertain if Julian would intervene, she called Teddy again. This time Julian answered.
Before she could ask he spoke, “My person checked the garage and spotted a suspicious vehicle that just left. We’re investigating.”
“A suspicious vehicle?” Sadie asked. “Was it the person following Louisa? But that doesn’t make sense–Louisa told me that person couldn’t enter the
complex.
“Indeed, it wasn’t him. That person is still outside. George might be behind this
Sadie was momentarily speechless. He knows this too?
But a stronger sense of unease quickly took over. “If something really happened to Louisa, that means there was a third person following her? Someone who evaded both your person and George’s person, and quietly abducted her?”
Her lawyers mind worked rapidly. “The only person who hates Louisa enough to want her dead is Vivian. But logically, Vivian doesn’t have the capability to
evade people sent by both of you,
“If it really is her, and she accomplished something nearly impossible, dors that mean she’s determined to kill Louisa this time?”
Julian had already considered all this. His eyes flashed wills cold determination, his voice eerily calm but resolute, “She will be fine.”
Then I leave it to you,
Mr. Tudor”
“Very well.”
After Julian hung up, Sadie continued to feel that something won’t right. She didn’t think Vician had such capabilities.
Could it be George’s doing again? Perhaps the person he sent to follow Landas wys just a

smokescyern. That bustand had finally acted like a normal prison
With this thought, she immediately called George.
