Chapter 391
Showing up at someone’s door this early in the morning–didn’t take a genus to figure out who it was.
Julian’s expression turned cold. He set down his kitchen knife and walked cut, telling Louisa, “Don’t worry about it. I’ll get the door.”
Louisa, sitting on the couch, remained silent.
She had no intention of getting involved anyway.
She headed to the bathroom to freshen up.
Julian opened the door to find Teresa and Bob,

Teresa’s already anxious, urgent mood–the moment she saw Julian, it was like she’d been shocked. Her breathing grew rapid, her face deathly pale, and she could barely stand steady.
Last night, just minutes after Louisa left Julian’s place, Julian had grabbed his suitcase and left with Satan.
Teresa had watched Julian stay outside for ages. Multiple times, she’d wanted Bob to call Julian back home, but Bob told her that if Julian were willing to stay home, he never would have left in the first place.
Bob refused to go get him.
Teresa had no choice.

She’d known Julian and Louisa were together, but seeing them in the same house was another matter entirely.
She didn’t even know how she’d gotten through the night. Her mind was full of manic thoughts: What would Julian and Louisa be doing together?
Had they already slept together?
She’d made Bob bring her to find them.
Bob hadn’t wanted to come, but then thought–let her see it with her own eyes.
If she saw it, maybe she’d finally give up.
But how could a heart give up so easily?
Teresa’s heart was half–dead, already numb with pain.
She still managed to squeeze out a smile uglier than crying and called out pitifully, Julian…..”
Please soften toward me, please soften foward me.
Please stop torturing me like this. I can’t take it anymore.
However, julian tommined expressionless, giving Teresa on ley look. “Do ya need something?

Chapter 391
Teresa: “I came to have breakfast with Ms. Forbes.”

Julian: “She’s keeping me company. She doesn’t have time to eat breakfast with you.”
Bob and Louisa, in the bathroom, both heard Julian’s words and struggled to suppress their laughter, nearly giving themselves internal injuries.
Julian knew exactly how to slowly torture someone.
Teresa was in agony, her heart aching to the point of death. She didn’t know how much effort it took to keep herself from turning and walking
away.
She insisted on standing at the door, looking at Julian pitifully. “Then can I eat with you both?”
Julian: “I didn’t make a portion for you.”
Bob nodded frantically inside: Exactly! The food Julian made wasn’t something just anyone could eat.
Teresa still didn’t leave, persisting: “I have some work matters I’d like to ask Ms. Forbes about.”
Julian: “You have plenty of time to ask at the office. You deliberately made things difficult for her, and now you want to ask her advice? She doesn’t have time to teach you. Whoever kept you around–go find them.2
The implication: keeping her around wasn’t Julian’s idea at all, and she wasn’t worthy of wasting Louisa’s time.
With that, Julian shut the door directly, showing no mercy whatsoever.
Teresa couldn’t hold back anymore. Her eyes immediately reddened, tears about to fall.
Bob sighed. “Ms. Hughes, stop torturing yourself. Mr. Tudor clearly… just let go.”
Teresa’s face, which had been about to cry, instantly turned cold. “Why should I let go? I know he likes me. He used to be so good to me, cared about me, looked after me, helped me with my homework, and smiled at me. When I was sick, he took care of me…”
Bob: “That’s because Mr. Tudor treated you like a sister. He’s that good to all his siblings.”
Being Julian’s sister was already an enormous blessing. Don’t harbor other hopes. Wouldn’t it be nice to simply cherish that sibling band?
“You don’t understand at all!”
Teresa turned and yelled at him. “You don’t understand our relationship at all! Julian has feelings for me in his heart. He loves me. He only had to let me go for his older brother’s sake…”
Bob fell silent.
What else could he say?
How could you wake someone determined to pretend they re asleep?
Bob stopped trying to persuade her, leaving only one sentence: Then thin it over slowly I’m going back.

Chapter 391
Teresa stood at Louisa’s door, biting her lip hard.
If she could let Julian go, she would have done it long ago.
She’d thought that staying by Julian’s side, helping him solve problems, he would eventually soften toward her.
She didn’t want to give up.
She simply couldn’t give up.

Louisa finished washing up, changed clothes, applied simple makeup, and dame downstairs.
Julian had already finished making breakfast and was sitting at the dining table with his phone, reading the news, waiting for her to eat
together.
No one else was in the house.
Louisa breathed a sigh of relief and walked toward him calmly.
Last night she’d already put on an act for so long, and this morning again.
Still no script, improvising lines, reacting on the spot.
It was actually quite exhausting.
She sat down beside Julian, picked up her utensils, and started eating.
Seeing she had zero intention of asking anything, Julian felt rather helpless. “My girlfriend just isn’t competitive enough.”
Louisa: “Compete for what? Fight over what?”
Julian: “Me.”
Louisa’s eyes curved as she smiled sweetly. “Who says? I love to compete, love to fight. Just give me a minute to work on it.”
That line was obviously fake.
Julian didn’t call her out. He speared a piece of bacon and held it toward her.
Louisa opened her mouth to eat it.
Just as it reached her lips, he pulled it away.
Louisa instinctively reached to grab it. “Julian, that’s not fair! Give it back
Julian looked at her coolly. “You’re pretty aggressive about fighting over food.
Louisa kicked him under the table and ignored him.

Chapter 391
Julian offered her the bacon again.
Louisa had her pride. She turned her head away and refused to eat it.
There was plenty of bacon on the plate. Why should she have to eat the piece he was offering?
When she wouldn’t eat, Julian insisted on feeding her. He pulled her onto his lap and tried to feed her, playing around with her.
The breakfast ended in a harmonious atmosphere.
After finishing, they went to work together.
Early morning, Julian had meeting after meeting.
Louisa wasn’t idle either. She returned to her department for a morning meeting. Teresa wasn’t there.
Though Louisa found it a bit odd, she didn’t dwell on it.
Teresa, who’d made such a scene this morning, had given up just like that?
Impossible.
Teresa was probably off consulting with her backer about strategy.
Louisa didn’t care.
After the meeting ended, she was about to return to her office when she noticed everyone gathered in small groups talking.

Curious, she asked Marlee and learned that Teresa had been demoted again.
