Chapter 430
This was a reason impossible to refute.
Louisa ultimately didn’t take the coat off again.
The person who came to pick them up was named Kaida, from Gravenford’s branch office.
She handed Louisa an umbrella.
Louisa took it and walked down from the plane.
But the rain came slanting down, hitting her face–cold, damp, and stinging–making her uncomfortable.
The car arranged to pick them up had already arrived, parked right on the tarmac.
The four of them got in one by one.
It was a six–seater.
Julian settled into the front row of the back seat, in the main position.
Teddy let Louisa get in first.
As Louisa climbed in, Julian’s gaze happened to look over.
Their eyes met.
But only for a second.
Louisa shifted her gaze away and sat in the second row of the back seat–the position behind Julian.
Teddy followed and sat down beside Louisa.
Noah, left with no other choice, had to sit next to Julian.
Up front, the driver and passenger doors opened simultaneously as the driver and Kaida got in.
The entire ride was silent.
The branch office staff didn’t know what was going on, assuming it was just Julian’s commanding presence and authority.
Only Teddy and Noah knew that Louisa and Julian were in a fight, and since the two of them weren’t talking, Teddy and Noah didn’t dare walk into the line
of fire either.
The Tudor family had a villa in Gravenford, so for this business trip, they weren’t staying at a hotel–everyone was arranged to stay at this villa.
Teddy had mentioned to Louisa before that Julian used to live in this villa when he was studying in Gravenford.
Later, when Teresa came here to study, she also lived here.

Amelia and Alicia would occasionally come to stay and vacation here, too.
So whether anyone was living in the villa or not, someone was always maintaining it.
When the group finally arrived at the villa, it was still raining.
Noah carried the luggage by himself, seemingly enjoying the task.
Julian went straight to the master bedroom to rest.
After all, he wasn’t a machine. Coffee could perk him up, but his physical stamina had reached its limit–he needed rest.
After Louisa and Teddy sorted out their rooms, she went back to hers, too.
She was tired too, but having slept on the plane, she wasn’t very sleepy.
Plus, they didn’t have to go to the office today–there was plenty of time.
She took a shower first and changed into clean clothes, then wanted to go to the kitchen to find something to eat.
There was bread, salad, yogurt, and fruit, but she wanted something hot.
She found some pasta… Though she didn’t particularly like it, at least it was hot.
As she was boiling water to cook the pasta, the villa’s doorbell rang.
The staff wasn’t in the living room.
Teddy and Noah were both upstairs in their own rooms.
So Louisa turned off the stove and walked out of the kitchen.
Reaching the door, she first looked through the peephole.
Teresa?
Louis was speechless.
She’d been wondering why Teresa had resigned so easily. Agreeing that quickly didn’t seem like Teresa’s style at all.
Turns out shed followed them to Gravenford?
Whoever wants to open the door can open it.
Louisa didn’t open the door for her, pretending she hadn’t heard, and went back to her kitchen to continue cooking the pasta, cutting tomatoes, and making
her tomato meat sauce.
But a question flashed through her mind: Didn’t Teddy say Teresa had lived in this villa before? How come she doesn’t even know the password?
The doorbell kept ringing.
