After the Affair: Falling into a Billionaire’s Arms
Chapter 439
Louisa was completely unaware of Julian’s gaze.
She was immersed in her own thoughts, looking at the appetizing food on her plate with no appetita
She slowly took her knife and fork, picking food up, then mashing it down.
Julian had an old flame in Silverlight City, and now in Gravenford, he had a first love too. He was really as boy–might as we wok
himself to death.
Her movements grew increasingly rough, just wanting to vent.
But after venting, she seemed completely drained of energy….
Whatever. It didn’t matter anymore.
She had a premonition that their relationship would end soon.
In this relationship between them, Julian had always been the one leading.
He was the one who’d thought too far ahead, done too much.
He was the one pulling her forward.
She was always insincere, false in her affections, always thinking about escaping.
Now, he must be tired too, right?
She knew this day would come eventually.
In their relationship, she didn’t want to move forward. With only his efforts alone, he would grow tired someday.
Actually, this was fine.
It would happen sooner or later anyway–just a matter of one day earlier or one day later.
Looking at the mess on her plate, Louisa stared for a long time before finally picking up her fork and eating everything, bite by bite….
At nine o’clock, they set out for the branch office.
Noah drove in front, Teddy sat in the passenger seat, reporting today’s schedule to julian in the back.

Chapter 439
The entire morning, fallan would be in meetings at the branch office.
in the afternoon, there was a summit that Julian needed to attend.
In the evening, the branch office was holding a party, mainly to welcome julian’s inspection visit
Louisa sat beside Julian.
Actually, she had no idea why Julian wanted to bring her on this business trip. She’d reviewed the itinerary in for her to do, no place where she was needed.
So when Teddy was reporting the schedule, she zoned out a bit.
Until Julian said to Teddy, “I won’t attend tonight’s party. I have something else to do. You and Louisa go
“Alright, okay.” Teddy didn’t know what was going on and instinctively looked at Louisa.
Louisa looked at Julian: Another engagement tonight? Continuing to reminisce with his first love?
Julian met her gaze and asked coolly, “Does Ms. Forbes have any objections?”
Louisa smiled. “Mr. Tudor is joking. How could I have objections?”
That brilliant yet deeply cold expression made Teddy in front shiver.
Noah couldn’t help but say, “Mr. Tudor, what are you doing tonight? Can’t you bring Ms. Forbes along?”
That kind of perfect atmosphere in the evening–shouldn’t two people be together?
Louisa was startled by this and shot him a deadly glare. “Don’t be ridiculous. If Mr. Tudor arranged it this way, he must have he recess. He has a very important person he must meet alone.”
The atmosphere in the car fell silent for a few seconds, turning chilly.
Julian didn’t even glance at Louisa, his tone distant and detached. “That’s right. Ms. Forbes is correct. I need to meet a very important person. It’s not convenient to bring her.”
Without thinking, Louisa replied, “Perfect then. I don’t want to go anyway.”
The words escaped before she could think them through.
Even slow–on–the–uptake Noah realized his comment had ignited a fire and immediately shut his mouth.
Teddy frantically flipped through his files, pretending to be very busy.
