Chapter 237 Crossing Paths
Agnes replied, “I’m listening…”
Raymond continued, “Don’t worry. I’ve already sent people to look into it. Just be careful these days. She probably wouldn’t dare come back.”
Agnes hesitated. “She’ll come back. Because… she thinks her daughter is with me.”
“Her daughter? What did you do to her daughter-”
Agnes cut him off, “Don’t ask too much. I’ll be careful.”
Raymond understood. “I’ll assign more people to stay by your side. I-I’ll also return to the estate.
“As long as Rebecca isn’t caught, I won’t feel at ease. I’ll come pick you up. Where are you?”
Agnes rejected him. “She won’t dare do anything to me right now. I’ll take care of myself.”
Raymond asked, “Where are you?”
Agnes let out a sigh. She hadn’t wanted to tell him, but he was impossible to shake off.
She paused, then said, “I’m in Wenmark handling something. I’ll be back tomorrow.”
The line suddenly went silent.
Agnes thought the call had dropped and said hello a few times, but there was no response.
Just then, she saw a doctor walking toward her from a distance, a refined middle-aged man.
Surrounded by a group of people, the doctor was heading toward the elevator.
Agnes recognized him instantly. That was Josh Marrow. She had studied his photo before coming.
She quickly hung up and ignored the nurse calling after her as she ran straight toward the elevator.
On the other end, Raymond’s face darkened, his chest tightening like it was being torn apart.
Agnes had gone to Wenmark, and he knew Neal was in Wenmark too.
Is she there to see Neal?

Countless dark thoughts flooded Raymond’s mind, and the jealousy inside him surged out of control.
He sped all the way to the airport and rushed onto a flight to Wenmark without a second thought.
Agnes watched the elevator numbers climb higher.
She couldn’t wait. This was her only chance to see Josh.
She dashed to the stairwell and ran up flight after flight to reach the same floor Josh was on.
By the time she got there, the elevator chimed open.
She made it.
Agnes stood by the elevator doors, breathing heavily.
