That Killed My Baby 24
Chapter 24 Trouble
Agnes took Emily’s an and prepared to leave.
Behind them, Hillary’s mocking voice rang out.
“If Raymond finds out you finally started caring about skincare and your looks, he’ll be very happy. After all, men like beautiful women, right?”
Agnes asked Emily to wait in the car first and said she had something to deal with.
After Emily left, the smile on Agnes’s face slowly disappeared. Her expression turned cold.
“Hillary, who are you talking about? Now that Raymond isn’t here you’re finally showing your true colors?”
Hillary blinked innocently. “Oh, Agnes, what are you talking about? I’m just happy to see you change so suddenly.”
Agnes laughed lightly. “Hillary, we’re both women. Stop pretending. You were with Ursa at her birthday party last time, weren’t you?”
Hillary gave a sweet smile. She neither admitted nor denied it.
“If I were you, I would’ve left the Newton family long ago,” she said calmly. “What’s the point of staying? When something happens to you, no one helps you. You’re really pitiful.”
Suddenly, Agnes burst out laughing. Her laughter was loud and wild, which left Hillary confused. Hillary frowned. She thought Agnes looked like a crazy woman.
“What are you laughing at?”
Agnes wiped the corner of her eye and said with a smile, “Hillary, how long have you been acting weak and pitiful in front of Raymond every day? Yet he still hasn’t given you a title. If we’re talking about being pitiful, I can’t compare it to you.”
She tilted her head slightly. “Why do you think Raymond still hasn’t divorced me?”
Hillary snapped, “Because you keep clinging to him!”
Agnes asked calmly, “Do you really think Raymond is the kind of man who is easily influenced by others?”
Hillary’s face turned pale. Her body trembled slightly. But a moment later, a mocking smile appeared on her lips.
“Agnes, what’s your relationship with Neal?”
Agnes frowned. “What are you talking about?”
Hillary sneered. “Stop pretending. I saw it myself. Behind Raymond’s back, you were flirting with Mr. Ruell. If I tell Raymond about this, what do you think he’ll think? Haha.”
Agnes cursed angrily, “You’re really crazy. Go home and take your medicine!”

Chapter 24 Tremble
“Agnes! Why are you here?”
A sharp voice suddenly aterrupted them. Ursa had arrived, and she looked furious.
After Hillary secretly took photos of Neal carrying Agnes that night, she quickly sent them to Ursa.
Ursa had almost gone mad with anger. The Newtons and the Ruells had long been discussing a marriage alliance. Agnes clearly knew that Ursa liked Neal
At the birthday party, Ursa had almost embarrassed herself in front of Neal because of Agnes.
She had wondered why someone suddenly stepped in to defend Agnes that night. Now she finally understood. Agnes had already seduced Neal.
“Why can’t I be here?” Agnes replied coldly.
Ursa’s eyes burned with anger. “How shameless can you be? You spend Raymond’s money here while secretly seducing other men!”
Her voice was loud. Soon, the noise attracted spa staff and other customers.
The people who came to places like this were usually wealthy daughters and young wives from rich families. Scenes like this were rarely seen here.
Everyone gathered around.
Agnes didn’t understand why Hillary and Ursa suddenly accused her of being involved with Neal.
But whenever those two were together, trouble always followed. Quietly, Agnes dialed Emily’s phone.
“Ursa,” Agnes said firmly, “you already slandered me once at your birthday party. I didn’t argue with you then. But if you keep spreading lies and ruining my reputation, I won’t let it go.”
Ursa became even more aggressive.
“Everyone, look at this woman!” she shouted. “She’s already married, yet she’s still flirting with men everywhere. She cheats on my brother and is even trying to seduce my fiancé. How shameless!”
Seeing the crowd grow larger, Ursa decided to humiliate Agnes in public.
“Exactly!” Hillary chimed in. “This Ms. Sinclair is already married, but she’s trying to seduce her sister–in- law’s fiancé. That’s disgusting!”
Hillary took out her phone and showed it to everyone.
Inside were photos of Neal carrying Agnes that night. There were also many pictures of Agnes entering and leaving the Ruell Villa.
The high–society circle in Grandridge was small. Many of the rich daughters and young wives present
