Eden said, "Understood. Everything's ready. I'll send them over right now."
After hanging up, Raymond's gaze turned dark and deep.
He understood there was only one boat connecting the island to Grandridge.
If Agnes wasn't on that boat, then she had to still be somewhere on this island.
Just then, in the crowd, Frank caught sight of Neal.
He walked over and said, "Mr. Ruell, since you came to this event, I assume it was for Agnes, too.
"Don't tell me... You hid her?"
Neal's eyes darkened. He forced down his anger and said, "I'm not that low, Frank. This isn't the time for that. The most important thing right now is finding her."
Frank said nothing. If Raymond had known Neal would be attending this event, then no matter what, he never would have refused Agnes's invitation.
That man kept acting aloof. Asked to come, he refused. He said he didn't care. Yet every single day, he still came asking Frank about what was happening on the island.
Frank said coldly, "It'd better have nothing to do with you, Neal."
Everyone on the island started searching on their own again for the two missing people.
Even Vivian and her little group of friends joined the rescue team.
Suddenly, a distant roar rolled across the sky.
Everyone looked up and saw that at some point, dozens of aircraft had appeared overhead, blotting out the sky.
They clearly weren't ordinary planes. They were military aircraft.
Raymond never let go of his phone. The person on the other end kept feeding him updates.
Everyone froze where they stood, staring as the aircraft circled over the island again and again.
"What the hell is going on?! Are we surrounded?"
"Ahhh! I knew it! Some secret organization! Are they going to wipe us out and kill us here? Boohoo..."
"What are these planes doing? Those are military aircraft! We're not spies, hey!"
"Oh my God, this can't be where my life ends, right? No, please! Why are they targeting us?"
"Damn it, this whole island organization is a freaking cult! They trapped us here on purpose!
"Some charity donation event? My ass. They knew we had money and wanted to lock us here and bleed us dry!"
"Shut up! Shut up! You're so damn loud! Can you stop spouting nonsense for once? We're still alive, aren't we?"
Everyone was talking over each other.
Some were crying. Some were so scared they just sat there and couldn't move. Some kept staring up, tracking the planes.
Just as the whole group was panicking, scared out of their minds, and on edge, Raymond suddenly shot to his feet in the island's surveillance room and shouted into the phone, his voice shaking, "Where?!"
On the other end, they seemed to have found Agnes's location.
