The question was super long, with a chart about werewolf energy transformation. It looked tricky.

I grabbed my pen and started writing. The scratch of the pen on paper somehow helped me think more clearly.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Jennifer frowning, chewing on her pen, looking totally stressed. I couldn’t help but chuckle.

At the classroom door, Warren was talking quietly with another teacher. I caught him say, “Mr. Holt, are they taking a test now?”
