Chapter 321: Caleb’s Hypocrisy
Chapter 321: Caleb’s Hypocrisy
(Amelia’s POV)
Caleb finally posted his official response.
Almost immediately, the social media accounts for my wolf pack were flooded.
It was like a dam had burst.

His fanatical fans swarmed into my comment section like a pack of rabid wolves, tearing into everything
in sight.
I scrolled through the barrage of notifications, my expression impassive.
“Redberry Music? What kind of obscure trash platform is that?” one comment sneered. “No major
streaming service wanted your garbage song, so you had to dump it in a grave?”
“You deserve to lose to Caleb,” another wrote. “He is a star. You are a joke.”
The insults grew more personal and vicious.
“You are so stupid, Amelia. If you had just forgiven Caleb, you could have had a mutually beneficial partnership. Instead, you forced him into the arms of Gale Entertainment. Now you created your own
worst enemy.”
Anya stood beside my desk, her face flushed red with anger.
She gripped the tablet so hard her knuckles turned white.
“This is unbearable,” she spat, her voice trembling. “I used to have a shred of respect for him as an artist.
Now? He makes me sick.”
She pointed accusingly at the screen.
“Look at him! Playing the victim, begging for forgiveness one second, and the next he sells his soul to our
enemies at Gale.”
Anya took a deep breath, trying to steady herself.
“He is even hiring paid trolls to disparage you,” she said, her eyes burning with indignation. “He is
personally inciting his fans to attack us. It is low. It is dirty.”
I looked at her furious face and felt a warmth in my chest.
She was truly upset on my behalf.
I offered her a small, calming smile.
“Don’t get so worked up, Anya,” I said softly. “Anger clouds your judgment.”

Inside my mind, Ava let out a cold, disdainful snort.

*This two–faced weakling,* she growled, her fur bristling. *He only knows these underhanded tricks. His wolf spirit has long since rotted away.*
*True,* I replied silently. *But we must admit, his antics are driving massive traffic to our new song.*
Anya sighed, seeing my lack of concern.
“You have such a big heart, Alpha,” she murmured, shaking her head. “But maybe we should reconsider the release strategy? Should I contact some mainstream music platforms? We could try for a simultaneous release.”
“No,” I refused immediately. “Why give other platforms the advantage?”
Anya blinked, confused.
She didn’t know the truth.
It wasn’t that I couldn’t negotiate with other platforms.
I knew the mysterious owner behind Redberry Music personally.
In fact, under the name ‘Lily‘, I had secretly purchased shares in the platform years ago.
I had always intended for this to be an exclusive release.
“Just trust me,” I said, my voice firm.
Anya looked at me, stunned by my absolute confidence.
Whatever doubts she had seemed to vanish in the face of my certainty.
“Alright,” she nodded, straightening her posture. “I will get back to work then.”
She turned and left the office, leaving me alone in the silence,
I leaned back in my chair, my fingers tapping rhythmically on the desk.
My thoughts drifted away from the music war to a darker subject.
Livia.
My biological mother had disappeared at this critical juncture.
It was too coincidental,
Griffin Drake had promised a “big show” for my birthday.
Livia’s absence had to be connected.
I frowned, staring out the window at the city skyline.
Adrian Stone was a madman, certainly.

He had already proven he was willing to kidnap Livia once before.
But would he really use his own mate as bait in a trap set by the Drakes?
I considered the man who had lost his finger and been kicked out of his own Pack House.
A cornered animal is dangerous.
For profit and a chance to regain power, Adrian might indeed betray his own mate.
I would have to wait for Silas to finish his investigation.
Night fell over the city, casting long shadows across the streets.
I finished my work and returned to the Pack House.
The dining room was filled with the savory aroma of roast beef.
We sat down for dinner, the atmosphere warm and inviting.
“Dad,” I said, looking at Jaxon. “Please prepare an extra invitation for the birthday banquet.”
Jaxon looked up from his plate. “For whom?”
“Jasper Calder,” I replied.
Seraphina paused, her fork halfway to her mouth.

“Jasper Calder?” she repeated, her eyes widening. “Isn’t that the actor trending online? The one playing the
villain in the new show?”
She looked at me with curiosity.
“Is he a friend of yours, Amelia?”
“He isn’t a friend,” I said honestly. “He is Theodore’s biological younger brother.”
Seraphina gasped, nearly dropping her fork.
“Wait,” she frowned, confused. “I thought Ronan was his brother.”
“The Ronan you met was a fake,” I explained. “He had no blood relation to the Crimson family.”
Seraphina’s hand flew to her mouth.
“Oh, my Goddess,” she whispered. “So that fake brother conspired with your adopted sister to harm
Theodore… it all makes sense now.”
Jaxon set his knife down, his expression serious.
“Amelia,” he said, his voice low. “Is it safe to tell us such sensitive information?”
I smiled at them, feeling a surge of affection.
“You are the people I trust most,” I said. “There is no need to hide it from you. Besides, everyone who

needs to know Jasper’s identity already knows.”
Seraphina frowned, worry creasing her forehead.
“But the internet is full of terrible rumors about him,” she said. “They say his background is messy.”
“Those are lies fabricated by his rivals,” I stated firmly.
I took a sip of water before continuing.
“Jasper was an orphan lost to the world. He was raised by a mute rogue wolf named Uncle M, who survived by salvaging scrap.”
My voice softened.

“He is talented, Mom. But his talent attracted jealousy from powerful people who tried to destroy him.
Once the show starts filming, I will find a way to clear his name.”
Seraphina sighed, shaking her head slowly.
“It is terrifying,” she murmured. “Without a powerful Pack backing you, it is so hard for an ordinary wolf to
succeed in this world.”
I nodded, thinking of the many talented rogues in my own organization.
“It is,” I agreed.
Seraphina looked at me, her eyes suddenly glistening with tears.
She reached out and squeezed my hand.
“I just think of how much you must have suffered,” she choked out. “You were all alone for so long.”
I squeezed her hand back gently.
“I was lucky,” I reassured her. “I had my adoptive father Robert, I had Rowan, and now I have you and Dad.”
Jaxon cleared his throat loudly.
“Alright now,” he said, forcing a cheerful tone. “If you keep crying, the steak is going to get too salty to eat.”
He picked up a piece of tender beef and placed it on Seraphina’s plate.
