Chapter 326: Bloodshed
Chapter 326: Bloodshed
(Amelia’s POV)
I stood by the window, watching snowflakes drift down from the darkening sky.
Silas’s voice came through the phone, cold and sharp.
The more I listened, the darker my expression became.

“Hugh York carries a heavy blood debt,” Silas reported. “Two years ago, he drove drunk through the edge of
Pack territory. He hit a family of three.”
My fingers tightened on the phone.
“One of them was a newborn baby, barely a month old.”
Ice flooded my veins.
“The victims were ordinary Pack members,” Silas continued. “No power, no connections. Alpha Arthur York used money and influence to bury the entire incident.”
I closed my eyes, fighting the rage building in my chest.
“The victims‘ families included four elderly parents. They tried to seek justice but were blocked at every
turn.”
“Two of them died six months ago,” Silas said quietly. “Depression and despair killed them.”
My jaw clenched so hard it hurt.
Silas’s voice dropped even lower, carrying a bone–chilling coldness.
“According to witnesses, Hugh showed no remorse from the moment he killed them until the case was
buried.”
I felt Ava stirring violently in my mind.
“He even bragged about it at a private party,” Silas finished. “He told his drinking buddies that the baby’s
skull was surprisingly tough. When his car ran over the infant, it only broke the neck instead of crushing the head completely,”
Rage exploded through me like wildfire.
*“AMELIA!“* Ava roared in my mind. *“This cold–blooded beast doesn’t deserve to live! I want to bite through his throat myself! I want him to hear his own bones breaking!“*
I forced myself to breathe slowly, calming Ava’s murderous fury.
“I want to know how tough Hugh’s bones really are,” I said coldly to Silas. “Let’s see if he can withstand

being hit by a car.”

“Should I collect evidence?” Silas asked. “We could send him to human prison or the werewolf council’s tribunal.”
“No,” I said flatly. “That’s too easy for him.”
Blood debt must be paid in blood.
“We have Glenda,” I continued. “Eventually, she’ll carry out this revenge. After she kills him, she can take the blame.”
Silas made a sound of understanding.
“But before that happens,” I said, my voice dropping to a dangerous whisper, “I’m going to teach Hugh a lesson tonight. To calm my rage.”
“He’s at Night City club right now,” Silas reported. “In a VIP suite with Griffin Drake.”
Perfect.
I ended the call just as my phone rang again.
Theodore’s name flashed on the screen for a video call.
I answered briefly, keeping my face calm.
“I have something urgent tonight,” I said quickly. “Not convenient for video.”
Before Theodore could respond, I grabbed my car keys.
I drove alone into the night, heading toward Night City.
The snow fell heavier as I navigated through traffic.
My hands were steady on the wheel, but inside, Ava paced like a caged predator.
*“We’re going to make him pay,”* she growled.
*“Yes,”* I agreed silently. *“We are.“*

(Author’s POV)
At nine o’clock that evening, Night City club blazed with neon lights.
Music pounded through the walls, loud enough to shake the floor.
Jade received Griffin’s call and hurried to the luxurious VIP suite.
The moment she pushed open the door, she froze.
Celine sat obediently in the corner, wearing a revealing halter dress.

The scars on her face had completely disappeared, restoring her former beauty.
She was pouring wine with downcast eyes.
Jade forced anger onto her face and walked to Griffin’s side.
She wrapped her arms around his possessively.
“Why is she here?” Jade demanded.
Celine immediately lowered her head even further.
“I’m just here because Griffin took me in to do work,” she said humbly.
“Shut up!” Jade snapped coldly.
Celine fell silent instantly.

Ever since Griffin had kicked her viciously for speaking out of turn, she’d learned complete obedience.
She knew she had no right to talk back to Griffin’s future Luna.
“She’s just here to report on work,” Griffin said dismissively.
Jade deliberately acted like a jealous girlfriend.
“She’s not behaving herself,” Jade accused, pointing at Celine.
Hugh, sitting nearby, spoke up to please Griffin.
“Miss Jade, you should be more generous,” he said smoothly. “As long as you secure your position as
Luna, the rest doesn’t matter.”
Lucas was staring at the docile Celine with lecherous eyes.
“She’s so obedient it makes my heart ache,” he said with a lewd grin.
He turned to Griffin.
“Can I have her?”
Bitterness and humiliation flooded through Celine’s heart.
But her face maintained a soft, compliant smile.
“If Griffin agrees, I’m willing to follow Mr. Lucas,” she said quietly.
Griffin’s voice was utterly cold.
“Whatever.”
He spoke as if discussing a piece of furniture.
Lucas was overjoyed.
He pulled Celine roughly into his lap.

Celine quickly adjusted her emotions and nestled against him.
The men in the room laughed and made crude jokes.
Lucas patted Celine’s thigh possessively.

“When we win this bet about destroying Amelia’s reputation,” he declared loudly, “I’ll have you sit on my
lap. You can watch that arrogant bitch kneel on the ground and lick my shoes.”
The room erupted in laughter.
Jade watched the men treating women like playthings.
A flash of disgust crossed her eyes, gone in an instant.

The atmosphere in the suite was heating up when Griffin’s Beta burst through the door.
His expression was urgent.
“Boss,” he reported quickly. “Amelia just arrived at Night City. She’s downstairs asking for Hugh’s location.
